NEW THRAD IS CONTINUED FROM OLD THRAD

"Oldie" and the accompanying video have aggressively reasserted OF as one of my favorite things.  So it goes.

I have a bunch of new rap to work through, but apparently the new Fat Trel tape is going to be insane.

What I love about this video is that out of all of them, Earl really just comes off like an awkward, goofy kid. Perhaps because he hasn't had time to get used to the fame like everyone else. Also, Frank is a handsome motherfucker.

also,
it's a good thing earl's going to have such a great career as a rapper, because that's one ugly kid.

His verse on that Ghostface jawn was absolutely incredible. I thought he blew Ghost out of the water. Unfortunately, I wasn't really into much of his other stuff I heard

Remember guys E-40 is dropping his three Block Brochure: Welcome to the Soil albums next week

Here's a great track off Welcome to the Soil pt. 3:
E-40 ft. Kendrick Lamar and Droop E - Catch a Fade

Welcome to the Soil pt. 2 has a track called "Zombie" ft. Tech N9ne and Brotha Lynch Hung. Just take a guess how excited I am to hear that shit.

I ain't know from hip-hop but E-40 is amazing. And I can thank public radio host and famed white person Jesse Thorn for educating me on that fact.

Picked up The OF Tape Vol. 2, listening now.  Obvious that everyone's stepped up their rapping in the last year, and Left Brain's beats are getting increasingly interesting - "50" basically sounds like a giant robot toppling over into a skyscraper (nice to hear Hodgy actually screaming on a track).  And if Wolf ends up sounding like "Analog 2" I think we'll be alright.

Also, The Internet's song ("Ya Know") is tight as fuck.

Imminent awesomeness: Three E-40 albums, and Fat Trel's Nightmare On E Street.  I hadn't particularly been following Trel before, but the tracks I've seen from the new one are ridiculous.
