Bicep throwdown 2012

Per milly.
Let us measure our biceps (or whatever physical feat is significant -- longest continuous bike ride, fastest 5k, heaviest lift, biggest number of laps swum) and see what kind of progress we can make between now and the new year. I am kinda weeny and pushups are not happening for me, so I might have to go for something like seeing if can lose body fat in the places where I didn't make progress the last time I got measured. I do want to see how my lifting progresses, though.

I'd probably be down for something like this! Though I can't buy access to my gym's weight room until I get some money coming in. In the meantime, though, I've been working on pushups. I can generally do somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 in a day, though not all at once--I do sets of 25 at a time, 3-4x/day. It's only been about a month and I can already see some more definition in my arms.

Cool. I'm up for something like that! I'll find a definitive thing, and get back here.

I am trying to think of what the method is and all I can think of are destructive tests.

I dunno, I think we'd need a fully shirtless pic to really accurately determine the size of that bicep

The ones that Bernard took a while back (of her biceps) were pretty good - sleeves rolled up, mirror ones...
Man, my triceps and glutes are reminding me of the boxing class I did yesterday: millions of squats and lunges, and a bunch of triceps dips and stuff...along with the usual boxing shit. It was great.

I'm in favour of muscle pics, but I'm a yoga guy, and therefore am philosophically opposed to making achievements of any kind.
