Alright, shit. I was out in the garage cleaning and found my mouse and headset for a PC. That shit work for a Mac, 'pparently, cause I'm downloadin plantronics drivers right now for the headset. The mouse is a I-shit-you-not, IFeel mouse from 1999 made by logitech. It was part of their foray into immersive mouse tech, and would give you feedback as you plumbed the depths of the internet. So if I ran over the buttons on this page, the IFeel would give tactile feedback. I plugged it into my Mac and although I don't have those features installed, and it looks like some soundforge type for-the-people developers have created an IFeel solution ... I'm not going to mess with it. But 12 years is a long time for something like this to keep workin, and she's aworkin'. At any rate, I installed Steam and am going to town on this Team Fortress shit on a lark. Gonna see if I can get decent using a mouse and keyboard combination. I know there are some Steam junkies on here. I know Thermo's got that shit. I think JM? If you got Steam profiles, put em here so ole Milly can friend ja.

I am // (steam account name) or // (tf2 name), so I don't know which you need to add me with, but the search function doesn't always work well for me when it comes to adding people.

Damn how long does it take to learn keyboard controls? I wish I could use my xbox controller with my mac... I was running into walls half the time. Sorry JM.

I basically didn't play modern (WASD-ish) fpses on my computer until I picked up tf2 a few years ago. It took me a while to get used to the keyboard controls.
I'm basically not that much of a videogame person, and even after a couple of years, I still play a pretty mediocre game of tf2 on average.

I think I figured up a solution. I downloaded the unofficial mac driver for the xbox controller, then got this thing called controller mate that virtually enables the controller in team fortress 2. Ahhh!... I'm back! The sensitivity is a little off but with a little tweaking it should be just like playing it on the xbox.
That keyboard controls for this game were rough. I guess I could just try to pick it up, but I'm not patient. Yeah, I still play some of that Catan shit, and a random game here and there, but I don't know the last time I bought an actual game. It's been a while. I've been really meaning to jump into tf2 on the computer though. You can fight with medieval weapons??!

After scoffing at it, I got pretty good at the mouse+keyboard controls after about an hour of grit. My main problem with computer gaming is I can't stand up while playing a la Xbox. Anyways count me in if y'all get it going again.

Yeah, I figure if y'all see me playing, you're welcome to join my game. I usually just pick a game type and have tf2/steam pick a server.
