Quite right. Black (me) won in the end by 40-something points, or more accurately, White (Rory) lost it. Which didn't make the victory any less sweet...

My favorite tree of today.
I love trees. I just got a new book to help me identify them. I am working on it. I can't wait until spring.

I love trees, too. I took a class awhile back when I lived in Brooklyn and got to be a "certified citizen pruner." I have a hat and pruners and everything. Trees are really fucking cool, though. and winter trees are so lovely, like a pen and ink drawing...

I like this spot in Chicago, you get the El tracks, Merchandise Mart and the Sears Tower in the background, everything from the street level to the stratosphere. It's iconic. Also, my kids are standing there. Well, not NOW.

Try seeing it every day!
It's my work pc, so I don't have a choice, and we're not permitted to dl any software without authorisation, so my love of Firefox is confined to the domestic realm. For now.

A real man would get authorization to download Firefox! On every single computer in the goddamn building!

A real man would be working as an alligator wrangler or an oil-rig fireman, not as a desk jockey for a transportation agency. A real man would have no use for Firefox- though he would have use for fire, and foxes!
But seriously, I will try. This IE nonsense is a daily kick in the nuts.
Also, hm (in case I was misunderstood)- I wasn't being angry at you, I was being sad at my stupid computer.

I look frighteningly similar to my mother. This is her at age 20. If I had dark hair and were a bit prettier/skinnier, we would be the same person.

Huh how dark is your hair? Cos in every picture I've seen your hair looks darker than hers, as far as I remember.
