the source i heard it from was my friend who worked on the movie.  i accept that it may be wrong which is why i said it was my understanding.  

(however, it has been written up as that clip several times)

crystal, that fits with what david edelstein says in that slate article, because the benicio's corpse talking scene is the driving-in-the-rain scene... so ok, i'm convinced.
