Actually, rockmeamadeus just sent me the track list. As soon as he makes a firm decision regarding the type of CD case, I will make and send the artwork.
IT'S ALL COMING TOGETHER, AT LONG LAST!

so apparently I'm going to be making an avant garde album with my neighbors (surprisingly talented).
It's going to be a cover album of The Sound of Music soundtrack
it'll be me on guitar/vocals
neighbor #1 on guitar/vocals
neighbor #1's girlfriend on drums
neighbor #2 on trumpet
neighbor #3 on loops, samples, vocals, and other techno-babble.
I don't know why I posted this here. But we'll probably need cover art and production.

That idea's not going to sound as good once you sober up. Then again, it's summer, and the album might be completed before you sober up.

right in the ear dude. right in the ear.
nah, it'll be funny. and it'll be fun to make. I mean, can you picture me strumming my guitar with in the death metal effect with drum samples while singing Sixteen Going on Seventeen.
our second album is going to be originals and a WWI concept album.
dude, I've gotten so good at drunk typing. I beat sober JM any day.

No problem, mind dropping me an e-mail and I'll reply w/ the address? Not paranoid or anything, just don't wanna just post my muthafuckin' address all up in here for everyone to see. Ned Raggett may begin sending me junk mail, and that is something which I must prevent at all costs.

JamesSchnieder... dude... I've been trying to get in touch with you to no avail... I didn't get your cover. So right now you're holding up the project. Want to send it to me over the internet? Like, right now?
Thanks!

All right, y'all:
I got the full tracklisting for both CDs this weekend. Today, I finished putting together the artwork, and printed 'em out. I'm cutting the CD inserts tomorrow, then sending to Blake on Thursday. So he should get them by Monday, and then he can start sending the CDs to whomever sent him money to cover the shipping costs.
Some highlights, as a preview (based solely on the info I have; I have yet to listen to any of the songs):
-coldforge's cover song is almost sixteen minutes long.
-Andrew's original song sounds as straightedge as... well... Andrew.
-Trousers and Pat submitted a song by a composer who's so obscure, not even Wikipedia has a bio of him.
-I have made an executive decision regarding the titling of the all-originals disc. I am pleased with it.
-These discs will be awesome.

An executive decision? Hahaha... I'm very excited to put this all together...
I'll make a big post this weekend about ordering the thing. So just sit tight for now. And rest assured that those of you who already sent me cash and/or naked pictures of Bee Arthur will have yours sent out ASAP.
