hah, yeah, i think it surprises a lot of people. i can sing a lot of jeff buckley stuff too, and thought about covering one of his songs, but i can't play any of it on bass.

in fact, i'm actually contemplating borrowing or buying a guitar and learning some jeff buckley solo stuff so i can do a set as him on halloween 2006. i think it's gonna be hard, maybe even impossible, but it'd be fun to try.

Whenever this thread gets bumped I get all excited as if it's really a signal that the postman is knocking on the door. But nothing. Kinda of exciting, like christmas with out the scary religous aspects.

No worries, Wally... I sent yours out the same days as coldforge's and everyone else's. You're in England, bro. Patience.

Also: I'll be sending gifts in return for my box o' goodies you sent my way earlier. And for the gorgeous movies.

Prob. include the 'They Live Deeply, These Vagabonds' 10-disc set and pictures of me running around on a Saturday waving my Burnley scarf, ecstatic with my role as the only Burnley fan in New England.

How's the team doing, anyway?

Oh Rocky that sounds wonderful, I'm going to be up all night every night until it comes.

We're not doing to well.

A couple of key lads have been out for a couple of weeks, so when they get back and we have some luck, play offs aren't out of the question, long way to go though.

Your willingness to support a run down cotton mill town football team pleases me.

Yeah, sure... it'll be awesome and kinda awkward.

- Hey... Um, Blake?
- Yeah. That's me. You got the cash?
- Yeah... here.
- No! Not like that!! Jeez, you wanna get us killed? Drop it on the floor over in the corner... your CDs are in the heating duct.
- Ok.
- And we never had this conversation.

Wink

Really though, no problems, I'll bring you CDs.

Most def.
I'll be the pink panther, and you can come as Inspector Clusoe.

Your codename is: cookie-cutter

You'll respond to the question: How many camels does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

with

Ah, but the Arabic dialect is confounded in uncertainty!

And then we'll do the hand-off.
