Scientists bring us one step closer to creating new sentient species!
By far my favorite part of the article was the following paragraph:
Quote
Particularly worrisome to some scientists are the nightmare scenarios that could arise from the mixing of brain cells: What if a human mind somehow got trapped inside a sheep's head?
I SMELL A SITCOM!!!

Once again, Skittles advertisements are on the cutting edge of bioethics.

The fact that they refer to it as "inventing" creatures fucks me up. I can see the benifits, but I feel like the risks negate them utterly.

dude, the ninja turtles rule. i only WISH they existed in real life.
i can understand hating the live-action movies, those were terrible. but the comic, the video games, and the cartoon were all pretty awesome.

I recall that Vanilla Ice played a significant role in the 2nd movie, which qualifies the Turtles as serious risks to all us by association.
You are right though, the comics, games, and the TV show were pretty great.

Oh man, god knows how many times I played through Turtles in Time on SNES. One of the best games EVER. But like all good things, the turtles have been ruined by the current generation of cartoon developers. I saw some of the new cartoon, and oh man did it suck. I feel sorry for kids these days growin up with cartoons like that.

There are no risks to playing with genetic code! I want my dog to have a cup-holder!
