it helps if youre into horror movies and goofy shit like that, i dunno. i seriously dont even read the lyrics on 90% of the metal albums i buy becuase its all totally ridiculous bullshit and you cant understand what theyre saying anyway. you see a song titled I Could't Fit All Her Limbs In The Freezer and you can pretty much get the gist of what theyre talking about. its all about the sound of the thing in the end.

seriously, i like milly's lord gore lyrics better than the real lord gore lyrics, but that said i totally agree with pook about people laughing AT metal.

it's my feeling that as soon as you start making fun of something that someone has already said they honestly like, ESPECIALLY when you do it by posting something you find ridiculous and equating it with said thing that aforementioned other person has already said that they liked, what you're REALLY doing is going, "god, you're a fucking idiot for liking this." if you are surprised when people get offended by that, then you're not paying close enough attention to what you're saying. besides, if you think about it, it's an example of the logical fallacy of the strawman anyway.

at the end of the day, i don't like the gory artwork in this thread, i haven't heard lord gore but i don't tend to be but so into goregrind, BUT i will always defend a) people's right to create such artwork, and b) people's right to listen to/like goregrind without being treated like they're idiots for it.
