When people who haven't heard of Augie March question me about them, I find it hard to shut up, so I'm not going to fall into that trap again. EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD SHOULD LISTEN TO THIS BAND.

also, your mississippi john hurt collection needs the "last sessions" album. it's soooo good!!!

I know, I actually stole it from the internet recently.

Actually guys, I just checked my stacks and all I've got are 483 copies of Sandinista! on cd, cassette, vinyl, cdr and flexidisk.  I coulda sworn I had a Radiohead ep somewhere, but apparently not.  Shucks.

I'm sufficiently bored, so these are the cds that happen to be sitting on my extremely messy desk at this moment.

MIA - Arular
No Thanks! 70s Punk Rebellion - Discs 1 and 3
Brazilian Girls - S/T
Marah - 20000 Streets Under the Sky
Stars - Set Yourself On Fire
Brendan Benson - Alternative to Love
Rhett Miller - The Instigator
Magnapop - Hot Boxing
Newbury Comics, The Early Years - Volume 1
Verve Remixed 3
Cornershop - When I Was Born For The 7th Time
Diplo - Florida
Lost In Translation OST
Mountain Goats - Tallahassee
Sleater-Kinney - The Woods
RZA - The RZA Hits
Z-Trip - Shifting Gears
Junior Senior - D-D-Don't Stop The Beat
NME - SXSW Best New Bands Showcase 2005
Ani DiFranco - Knuckle Down
Nas - Illmatic
Gift of Gab - 4th Dimensional Rocketships Going Up
Kings of Leon - Aha Shake Heartbreak
Mindy Smith - One Moment More
Sage Francis - A Healthy Distrust
Zap Mama - 7
Elliott Smith - From A Basement On A Hill

And a couple of promo record label samplers.

This is, of course, ignoring the stacks around my room, in my car, and those actually in the cd tower. The point ultimately being I *really* need to get around to cleaning my room instead of procrastinating, heh...

7 inches:

shellac - uranus
el boxeo/stationary odyssey - split
