Ian Brown was in the last movie. He's in the Leaky Cauldron at the beginning holding a book. Apparently he's friends with Alfonso Cuaron, who directed that "Prisoner of Azkaban" but not "Goblet of Fire."
But yeah, "Goblet of Fire" ruled. They had the perfect actor for Cedric Diggory, which is pretty vital for "Goblet of Fire."

Quote
Author JK Rowling has revealed that at least two characters will die in the seventh book, but gave no clue as to who would end up meeting their maker.
In a Channel 4 interview, she explained the last chapter was written long ago and added:
"The final chapter is hidden away, although it's now changed very slightly... One character got a reprieve, but I have to say two die that I didn't intend to die."
IEEEEEEEEEE
One year to wait, ppl.

I love Harry Potter.
I have to admit, after finishing the 6th book, I was mostly just thinking (other than the obvious
WTF
), "How the hell is she going to make the 7th book less than 5,000 pages?"
That's a lot of ground to cover.

I've said before: I hope it's 5,000 pages. I don't care if I have to wait 10 years. I want that shit to be perfect.
Then again, I'm in the minority that thinks HBP was the best Harry Potter book.

i might have to place "goblet of fire" narrowly ahead of it, but really, i'm just glad that "half-blood prince" had so little school in it, so that might give it the nod.
but i think book 7 is gonna take things to a whole new level. and i agree, 5000 pages is find. anything to delay the end. because even if book 7 literally knocks me out because it's so good, it's still gonna be the end of the series and that's still gonna be a bummer.

I think I liked Order of the Phoenix the best, but I was certainly not disappointed by HBP. I do however wish I could go back in time and tell the "I don't give a damn about Harry Potter, that stuff is for kids" version of myself not to spoil the goddamn ending for me. Of course, I probably wouldn't have believed that I would ever not only read all the books but enjoy them immensely and woulda told future me to fuck off.

I think of every ill-informed decision I make as another "fuck you" to the Me of the future.

well, money shortage in the reese's back account, but that's neither here nor there. i've always thought magic is stupid as hell, regardless of my level of sobriety. i can elaborate if you wish. i almost did, but i figure i've already peed on the parade.
