I really really really really really really really need this song.

In any format... I don't care.

Help me.

(I have pretty much all the albums except "Comedy Minus One" which I need to get, but have practically nothing else by them in 7" format, on which the aforementioned song appeared....)

This the part of the thread where everyone points out that there's a CD compilation or 7" still in print that I can easily order from Shrimper... right?

RIGHT?

Your frustration and desperation are attractive and appealing...

I have it, alright, but only in it's original format, undigitised. Was it on 7"? Let me know your postal address and I will make you happy.

Someone really should compile all those 7"s on one CD and all the compilation tracks on another. Have you heard "On Dismembering Hardcore" from the "Does Your Dog Moult?" comp 7". Probably my favourite drumming on record. Ever. Best of their 7"s is the one on Squealer, I think. "Meantime"?

I have a great C90 from a few years ago. Side one is the Joel Tapes and side two is the Chris Tapes - two great, though very different, drummers. Am I the only one here who bought Man Is The Bastard on the strength of Refrigerator?

Let's leave the Paste discussion for another day, though I should mention that I've been listening to "Calm" and "Tension" a lot lately. And "Cherry Red Radio".

Joel Connell, the aforementioned drummer, is/was in both bands. If you can find "On Dismembering Hardcore" or "Genetic Hardcore Fusion", you'll be less confused.

...not to mention the Amps for Christ CDs on Shrimper. Cosy, eh?

ohhh yeah. i knew mitb's drummer was named "connell" (they never listed first names on their records), i just never knew he was in refrigerator. weird. also, i know of amps for christ, but i didn't know that they had done anything on shrimper. that dude is nuts.

what did those of you who sought out mitb on the strength of refrigerator think of it when you heard it?

Well, considering I bought it for the drumming I wasn't disappointed. Plus, how can you not love:
"Mr. Wilson would you like a toke?" "Come now George, humour the boy."!

Speaking of ordering from Shrimper, is Dennis Callaci still in business? I placed an order months ago, and I haven't gotten it, nor has the check been cashed, which makes me think he never got it. I got the address from the "Abridged Perversion" comp liner notes. Was that my mistake?
