Much like the "Who's aDrunk Poster Thread," a fairly useless thread for announcing to the world that you can't seem to get to sleep.
edit: right now, reading about whales, which is totally making me want to reread "Moby Dick." Man, cetaceans are fucking rad. Also, having a beer, in hopes that it will make me sleepy.

I'm on vacation as it were, and don't need to keep normal hours. Five AM, here I come!

Chili with melted cheese is good; warm, comforting, the kind of thing that might make me sleepy.
But it raises the question:
how the hell do they get American cheese to look so plasticy?

Yeah, I made myself a grilled cheese sandwich earlier. I do it up right w/ Tabasco and tomato slices. I prefer to use pepper jack, but all we gots is American and it's okay, but yeah, looks like plastic. Still tasty as all get out.

Greg, this music is awesome! I love the crazy scattershot snare part. Reminds me of Bombs Over Bagdad. Dude, if you ever want me to drop a verse for ya, you know how to reach me.

I'm glad you liked it. Maybe sometime we can collaborate on a song or something. Right now, I'm re-listening to the LPTJ member list, and enjoying it throroughly. Also, watching the BBC's "Life of Mammals". The aquatic mammal episode!

Does it count as insomnia if you don't even try to get to bed? I generally stay up to around four or so.

That counts. I usually get too bored to go to bed. I'm not sure I can explain that any better.

Also, I took a nap at work tonight. The last 24 hours:
9/21: 10am, woke up.
Class until 8p.
Two hour nap.
Work at 11p.
9/22: Two hour nap at 2am.
Class starts at 9, goes until 2.
I don't sleep all that much.

I'm awake. I'm a complete insomniac. Doubly so since I don't have a job.
And now I'm keeping my mom up with me, too. But that's what she gets for falling asleep for four hours in front of the TV tonight.

Congrats on breaking the 4 am barrier! I am also gainfully unemployed, so I'm aiming for between four and five.

It's 10 PM Sunday here, but I'll be up for quite a while. Hopefully, you'll be long gone in Z-Land by the time my five o'clock rolls around.
I detest warm milk. Blech!

Dude - by the time your five o clock rolls around, I'll have been at work for an hour.
Hopefully I won't be asleep then... at least, not with my eyes closed anyway

so we have threads for
my english teacher
comic books
and how badly we need sleep
was there like a secret meeting where you all decided to just make threads about the only things i talk about to keep me out of all the other ones?
by the way, no sleeping tonight because i need to read part of the scarlett letter, write an article for fanboy radio's newsletter, outline from my ap us history textbook, and write an essay for ap us history.

i tend to work too much, then take monthly 3 day weekends and sleep through all the fun. I also tend to get drunk quicker from lack of sleep, but then pass outthe second we get home from the bar. right now, i'm awake and plan to be for the next 7- 8 hours.
