You make a mockery of the light hours, a mockery!

is that like a full 10 hour sleep, or what?

That's great. I just got up.

All I want to do is sleep. In the night time. When it's dark.

I know, I know, I've flauted the rules consciousness/unconsciousness in the past, but I swear I've changed. I really have.

I know that people who stay up past midnight are evil and wrong and should be punished. I know because I have been one of those people and now I'm being punished.

I can't remember the last time I had a cigarette. Or a drink. Or anything else even mildy intoxicating and the cloying brightness of reality is really getting under my skin. All I want to do is get a good night's sleep!

Oh wow it's after 2 AM. I just watched the most amazing film- Mind Game. Japanese animation which I am generally not a nerd for
at all, not even a little bit, but oh man holy shit. I'll say it was better than Triplets Of Belleville. It's got some... Japanese stuff to it in terms of the treatment of sex which could really be my only reservation, but no it's completely amazing and you should all see it. I got it off Bittorrent, but apparently it just came out in New York City. See it see it see it.

I just spent the past 15 or so hours in bed having fever dreams of camping on acid with deranged philosophers.

It was some pretty crazy shit.

The question is, of course, which philosophers...

I'd say get all 'Alice in Wonderland' and hear Immanuel Kant go on about the catogorical imperative and transcendental philosophy while his face turns into smoke rings...

Oh, speaking of listening to Immanuel Kant go on about the catogorical imperative and transcendental philosophy while his face turns into smoke rings, have you seen Waking Life?

No

I don't think it ever came here. I've never really heard of it.

To be honest, I don't think so. From the description it all seems a little bit wishy washy. I like my philosophy raw - Marat/Sade and the like.

Eh, that movie wasn't nearly as hard-edged philosophy as I would've liked it.

Now Hegel, he's my boy. Not to say that the Critique of Pure Reason wasn't bad. But that Thesis/Antithesis thing? Hot.

It's 3:50 AM. I'm trying to make a mix CD as a soundtrack to my year 2005 that is also a best-of of the year. It is tricky due to the quality of the music this year- Songs contain a multitude of moods and there is much to choose from.

I sold a print at an art auction last night for $50. I'm happy with that price, because people were all being assholes and not bidding on anything, causing some shit that was way better than mine to go for way less.

Wow, good job Nick!
