This past few days I've been discovering Andrew Bird, and this is making me quite happy altogether, especially as he's playing here shortly.

Mostly just you, but...well, ok.  Psychotics.  I give up, you got me.  I like my men to have steel legs and psychotic natures.  I can't help it.

I have a new beer glass. I keep it in the freezer. It's nice to have a cold glass for beer at all times.

making me happy: the splint I've been wearing on my left hand for the last four and a half weeks was taken off today. The whole hand is still really, really stiff, not to mention ugly to look at (what with the big, still pretty fresh-looking scar and the fact that the skin of my entire hand and half of my forearm is all dried up), but I guess some ergotherapy sessions in the next few weeks, lots of exercises and a few tubes of handcream should solve that, hopefully.

Also, when I left the hospital I went into the nearby chocolate shop to celebrate and asked for a bar of milk chocolate with a high percentage of cocoa, expecting to be given something in the 45-52% range. I got one with 65%! Awesome.

fucking hell! I doubt I can. I don't get off work til 5 and have to get to Jersey to rent a car. I won't make it into town until very early saturday morning
