tonight we shall go to the Isis show where we will drink and be merry with Difficult, GCR & GI.

Tell Grace and Campbell hey from me, I haven't talked to them for awhile.

I'll probably end up calling them anyway, but still.

My stepmother came back home with lots of clothes from a garage sale for me, including a rather nice coat, which is great cos I lost my awesome red one at the Gardens. She's cool.

okay so how about:

1)motherfuckin' spicy thai food
2)sex shop where they give you live tours
3)highly competitive skee-ball

awesome date, huh?

Sounds like the perfect date to me. HINT HINT, above poster.

Got to admit that for a half-second I thought this was aimed at me Embarassed

So yeah, how do you ask a girl if she wants to go the sex shop without coming off like a perverted jerk?

I'd say what's making me happy right now, but I've been banned from speaking about my love life on here.  damn haters.  Mad

so i'll use an anonymous symbol for it, kind of like prince has that symbol for a name, but not really at all like that.

I'm in L.A., and I'm gonna take my girl to a sex shop tonight as part of our two-year anniversary.

Admit it, you're just in Los Angeles to attend the Grammys. C'mon, adf, don't be shy!

In truth: happy anniversary to you and yours. May it be romp-filled.

Didn't some poster way back when have pictures of himself on or about the red carpet holding a sign reading "THIS IS NEWS?"  Who was that and where is that picture?  That was funny.

Thanks, Bernard. You know, I've been to the NYC BiT, but never the L.A. one for some reason. My partner is a fan of the Pleasure Chest in West Hollywood--being woman-friendly is a huge factor for her (and rightly so, of course!)--but I'll put in a nomination. Also, it's a shorter drive, so that's good too.

BiT is quite woman-friendly. The Pleasure Chest is perfectly fine, but much of their selection is more toward the novelty end of the spectrum (which is perfectly fine). If you're going to be using the stuff you buy, though, you'll find tha BiTs selection is, while much more limited, quite practical. I assume that when you say PC you're referring to the shop in WeHo -- honestly, at least give BiT a look -- it's a very small shop and it won't take a minute to look around, but they're all business, and their products are selected for usability rather than comedy value.

Edit: I had the name backwards! Sorry about that.

Many, many things, including the fact I'm drunk for the first time since the festive holidays and later in the week I'll be taking Sophie down to the south coast.

I've always thought that taking someone to a sex shop on the first date would show you a lot about their personality.

Reading this gave me faith in the universe.

Yeah, I read more than half of it on a two hour flight to Indiana, and it was pretty awesome. There's a scene that's so disgusting that I want to tell you about it but I say you should read it yourself.

i am now interested in reading this book as well.

also, that publisher's weekly reviewer needs to re-examine his or her preconceptions in a big way.

Visiting an LPTJer in New York next weekend!!  AND AND AND. I just found out that I have recieved the presidential scholarship from Manhattan College! 12,000 dollars a year! Merit based, so I still qualify for need-based aid!

...I can afford school!

Man. The universe is all about balancing things out, with all the shittiness and all the awesome! I am happy because even if things get terribly terrible, it just means I will be in for some more amazing things!

Sorry. I'm not eloquent, but I'm very happy. and eating candy.

yay!  and yes, beth tis true! it's like that song from the sound of music, "something good"

Perhaps I had a wicked childhood
Perhaps I had a miserable youth
But somewhere in my wicked, miserable past
There must have been a moment of truth

and I have a feeling you are correct, in fact I have a feeling you are in for many wonderful amazing things, and you know I am slightly psychic....

nice going.
