I've been listening to The Concussive Caress all damn day, so.. it's official.

At first I was like "Is she twelve?" then I saw the breasts and didn't feel so dirty about thinking she was quite cute.

Yes, probably.  It's an ultra-famous National Geographic cover of a young girl in Afghanistan.

This is awesome to me because I remember bringing her up in a thread and you were all "I will investigate" and I thought  but didn't post "I'm not sure you'll dig it but okay whatever" and I'm glad it all worked out.

And man but everybody in the pacific northwest has a crush on that girl, including gay men (our own Charming Tedious) and straight women (no one you know but actual real people).

hah. i try to avoid getting crushes on anyone that a lot of other people dig. in those situations, i'm pretty much assure to be unrequited, since i am, shall we say, not the cream of any crop.

I think it's about time to revive my crush on Andy from the Goonies.

Mikey was such a lucky kid.  I remember sitting in my darkened living room on Saturdays eating microwaved hot dogs, watching The Goonies and wishing I had friends.

HATTTEEE the goonies more then anything else in the world. For real. Nothing make my skin crawl, the tears well then the very mention of that film.

No shit? I've been getting flak from people for hating that movie for YEARS.

Peeps: "Oh yeah!!! Like in the Goonies! Hahaha!!"
Me: "Grumble grumble grumble."
Peeps: "What Blake, you don't like the Goonies?!?!?! WERE YOU LIKE DEAD IN THE '80s?!?!?! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?!"
Me: "It's just kind of annoying... not my bag..."
Peeps: "FUCKYOUFUCKLYOUFUCKYOUFUCKYOU."
Me: "geez... sorry..."

I like this trivia: "The picture that Frankenstein's monster takes of Patrick's sister undressing in front of the window is actually of a blonde girl in a black shirt."

Never saw the Goonies. Don't really feel any need to.

Well, I would have prefered it to the Goonies even if it had been a screwball comedy filled with Nazi propaganda, but the fact that Tom Noonans in it, and the fact that Tom Noonan rocks harder then a really rocking thing. Well, that just seals the deal.
