So some of you guys might be nerdy enough to have heard of Child's Play, which is basically an amazon wish list compiler for Children's Hospitals run by a couple of webcomix dudes who were tired of nerds getting a bad rep for being anti-social misfits.  There's no administrative funds for it whatsoever, and all the stuff is super, super easy to buy.  I'm not sure if many of you have ever worked in hospitals but they are really depressing, especially if you're a kid.  So go and buy some DVDs for some kids, because having cancer when you're 12 sucks really bad and the least we can do as Internet people is give them The Incredibles to watch.

That's it. I choked up a little when I wrote that.  I'm gonna go buy stuff for sick kids that my parents wouldn't let me have as a kid now.

I don't even play video games, and I still think their comic is hilarious. And yeah, they do good things.

I emptied out my wallet for the Toys for Tots guys last night that were standing outside the Metro.

People, Christmas is awesome, but not when YOU ARE NINE AND HAVE CANCER.

I hate to be all [/soapbox] here, but seriously. Forgo your $6.99 CD purchase this month and buy some kids Popomatic Trouble because shit is AWESOME.

Yeah, I donated a childrens book to a Toys for Tots guy who was set up outside of the OfficeMax where I worked last year.  I should try to do more stuff like that this year.
