Man I still don't know if it's
good
or if it's just so suspenseful that I can't help but watch it. But, uh, the whole Ice Truck Killer thing goes for a big twist...

As far as last-minute shockers go, how does it compare to: "I'm sorry, but you've got something I need"*?
A girl needs to know, yes.

Haha, I am not Miles but I just watched that. Got to admit I kinda saw it coming when the dude started bandaging her leg. Plus something was bound to be iffy 'cause she seemed so damn happy. Still, it was nicely played, I hope the actor playing that dude comes alive a little more in the next few episodes, 'cause shit the scripts doing all the work for him at the moment. Meanwhile Tony Goldwyn rocks the house (never thought I'd say that) baby has come a long long way from Whoopi's Ghost. Pretty good show, currently pipping Friday Night Lights for the best new show.
Miles, if you're plain and simply happy watching the guy who played David in SFU being creepy and loveable at the same time, then you'll get a kick out this show. It does wander into "oh aren't we terribly edgy with our blood and titties" territory, but the main character and his story are pretty grand. Lots of nice little scenes and relationships scattered around to.

And you're probably aware, but bypassing the canon
too
far with Altman can result in some really painful viewing experiences.

If some sort of deus ex machina does not happen at the last second and this show is not saved from oblivion I am going to be so, so, so sad.

and the pop culture references. maybe that's normal, i don't watch the show regularly, but i wanted to keep count after a certain point. a simpsons reference? i guess it applied, but that's a little too much postmodern pastiche for me. just solve the crimes already

I dunno, but I just read that next week is the last episode until
January 30, 2007.
I should be used to this by now, but I am NOT.
Quote
Tina Majorino reveals: [Next time we see me,] I think it's the one that we're filming right now, Episode 9, called "Spit and Eggs." This episode is pretty intense because it's wrapping up the rapist mystery, so Mac is helping Veronica finalize her investigation into that. [This episode will also plant the seed for the second mystery of the season. We have kind of seen hints to it already.] But you won't know what it is until you've seen this episode. You've been introduced to the characters, but this one definitely plants the seed, you'll see. Again, it's very intense."
Haaaaaaaate.
Also, Rob Thomas writes
and
directs "Spit And Eggs."

IAWTC
Also, I finally got around to watching the first four episodes of Battlestar Galactica, the other night. I was saddened by the shaving of the moustache.
EDIT: I mean, the first four episodes of Season 3.

This helps my grief precisely zip, cause my friend who has cable has decreed that we are Not Watching The L Word Anymore. I blame the Jenny plotlines.
