I usually mix it in with the crack and the draino crystals in the ol' pipe. Then follow it up with a little scotchguard and I'm ready for a night on the town!

Update, y'all.
I decided to forego the crack and the whores and get a G5. That's right, y'all. Li'l ol me is gonna be stylin'.
We searched our hearts and our credit cards and upgraded to a 250GB Serial ATA Drive and 1GB of SDRAM.
Thank y'all so much for all y'all's help, y'all.

Yeah, it's totally worth it. Mainly because if something goes wrong with your mac, it won't be a software-type problem you can fix yourself.

xoe, I usually refrain from getting those kinds of big warrantee things, but I had a Magical Special feeling when I bought my mac, and decided on the spot that I needed Applecare. It has since saved me on multiple occasions. Get it, post-haste.

Thank you all for your advice on the Applecare. I will be purchasing that ASAP.
And the computer arrived yesterday. It is beautiful and wonderful and easy to use, and we're rearranging our whole upstairs living room around it, and I couldn't be more happy.
Thank you all so much!

Plus you'll have me, Lalitree, and alexandra to help you troubleshoot the thing.
Not that you'll ever need that, because:

The operating system is way less buggy and much more stable, and you won't be as succeptable to the security problems associated with windows.

How much did it end up costing, altogether, out of curiosity?

Well, look at it this way: we can't afford buying bargains. And while I'm not a branded member of the Mac Club (if Mac was an open standard there would be no Windows! You heard that! Mac caused Windows!) that G5 will do you wonderful service for a long, long time.

So they're going to have the Intel chips in about six months, is that right? A bit faster?

That was my feeling too. It seems totally worth it. And I am 100% in love with it.
