World War One novels

I need some recommendations, novels dealing with those left behind during the war, and those returning home. Also the state of the various nations as the war was fought. Anything really, as long as it's set during the period, with as little focus on the battlefields as possible. Thanks in advance.

Rebecca West, Return of the Soldier...
Ford Madox Ford, Parade's End...
And, to some extent, Mrs. Dalloway...
