and it is called I Like Food, Food Tastes Good
and it won't be out for a very long time
partly because the author only has 70 out of the 100 recipes she was looking for
so there's a gmail address included in the blog thingy that discusses it
which is here
so if you know any bands who cook...
so far the recipes include fried bananas from Devendra Barnhart
and a peanut butter and veggie sausage sandwich (a what now?) from Death Cab For Cutie
and Superchunk is going to have a recipe as well
and I have no idea why I am writing this in free-verse poetry style
but I am done
and now you know.

Indie is LITERALLY going to eat itself.

I just sent Chris from B&S, a curry and keyboard master, an email about this.

A MySpace account and a loft in Brooklyn subsidized by distant, uncaring parents whose work in insurance litigation is second in importance only to the shapeliness of their thighs.

I'm pretty sure that what makes a food Indie Rock, per the description nonotyet provided above, is that the recipe is submitted by an indie rock band.

A return address in Wicker Park. Scarves. French expatriate drama major girlfriends. Consumer-conscious spending habits not above a trip to Target.

Somewhere, that's the name of an obnoxious Morning Zoo radio program.
