ps. I'm just not going to comment on the overall irony of your post (see: derogatory towards lesbians in your post about someone else's intolerance/ingnorance)
ehhhh.. i guess. i don't really see it as too derogatory. i mean, i guess it was. i say a lot of derogatory things because, well, derogatory things make me laugh. i know i don't have anything against lesbians, anyone who knows me knows i don't have anything against lesbians, so i'll just say whatever makes me laugh.

I normally wouldn't have said something. It's pretty slight and uninflammatory, but I couldn't help but call you out in your post about another person's bias.

well, i'd have to say they are two different things. my remark was made in jest by someone with nothing against homosexuals, while her's was a gut react to make sure nobody would ever consider her gay, and then dragged it on for a few minutes.

Some of us tend to think that statements "made in jest" are just as bad.

yeah, i mean, people who don't know you can't tell the difference, and even people who do know you might be sensitive about something you're not sensitive about. it's best to err on the side of sensitivity, in my opinion.

Yeah, but you're still lumping in a whole "ugly sandal" style with lesbians, which is unfair insofar as many lesbians have perfectly nice footwear.
Which is not to say that I don't poke fun at my lesbian friends for their yoga mats / cats / polarfleece / etc.
'CAUSE SERIOUSLY, FOLKS. HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED HOW ALL LESBIANS DRIVE LIKE
THIS?
AND WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH AIRPLANE FOOD?

FUZZY BUNNY HARE NARRATES THE UNIVERSE 003

"The towels are too small."
Panel #4

Fuzzy Bunny Hare [Caption]
"And the beds smell like Parmesan cheese."
Panel #5
Fuzzy Bunny Hare is sitting down at the foot of his hotel bed, staring at the TV directly across from him.

"I also noticed that nobody ever dies in a hotel from something positive."
Panel #6

Panel #7
Same as Panel #6.
