Their upcoming ep "For the Heathers" sounds rather delightful, although I've only heard what's available on their website.

I lost a baby tooth during a heated Chicken Fight in the second grade.  Our version of the game had opponents hanging from monkey bars and viciously trying to kick each other off.  I was in a dead heat round against a guy whose technique consisted of gripping his opponent in his legs and holding him there until he fell off.  I knew this and was determined not to let that happen to me.  I saw him getting into position--he swung backwards, so I did the same.  Only, when he swung back, he had his feet up, ready to grab.  I caught a mouthful of Reebok and my baby tooth came flying out.

While I went inside to run my bleeding gum under the water fountain, my friends dug through the gravel and actually found my tooth.  I mean, that bitch was worth some money.

I was really young when I lost my first one and my mom started crying because she thought something was wrong with me!! but now I've got all my teeth. mm hmmm.

all of this is very little help, but I know nothing about this band. I will now add them to a list, though! (which still doesn't help you much, hm?)

When I was little, I plowed, full speed, into a chair at my yiayia's house.  Apparently, I was an exuberant and bold toddler.

One of my incisors collided with the chair, and changed colors for a couple of days before it fell out.

As a result, I had a big gap in my mouth as a child.  When my adult incisor grew in, it had a big unsightly dent in it, which had to be filled by plastic bonding.  It turns out that in the collision, the baby tooth had been driven upwards into my gum, and it had damaged the adult tooth while it was in its formative stages of growth.  The dent remains to this day.

I know nothing about this band.

Can I just point out three things.

1) this is a music thread
2) and there have been five responses,
3) I am the only one to say anything about the music in question.

Call me crazy, but this don't seem at all right.

HM, I can tell you all you want to know.  I keep thinking I'll make a thread called "BABY TEETH WILL OWN YOU" and tell you all about it.  But I don't really know where to start.  They're amazing.  Their record was my favorite thing I heard last year.  What song did you hear?

To be more useful, there's some YSIs of songs I like.  I didn't give you my favorite, though, becuase you should really buy the record.  Also, they tell me these guys are awesome live and according to my friend Aaron, the look like the Bee Gees.  Oh, and the singer's name is Pearly Sweets.  Booyah!

The first was was passably okay, but nothing that I remembered once it was over.  The second one was all right; I could see it growing on me, given the right circumstances.  Like, if I was hackey-sacking or something.

Before everyone just hates them, I should probably back off a little and say: nobody will like them as much as I like them.  I don't think.  And that's okay.  I could explain, but I'm getting too weird. I'm going to bed.
