I think we're all in agreeance that toasted sandwiches > clammy sandwiches, right?  They're just better.

The other night at the diner my friend got a Monte Cristo sandwich, it's french toast with turkey and cheese in the middle or something. I was like whatever, that's kind of gross but I can live with it, but then he drenches the thing in maple syrup, and I felt like, barf city.

in maple syrup? a poor choice!! Raspberry or Cranberry preserves are the way to go with this delicious treat of a sandwich. Ham, Turkey, Cheese, French toast, Heaven.

In fact. I want one. RIGHTNOW.

oh of course. some sandwiches aren't good at all unless they're toasted, and even a good sandwich will always be improved by toasting.

I just consumed a sausage, egg, & pepperjack cheese wrap w/ salsa for dipping purposes which was pretty kick ass.

My breakfast sandwich craving has been satisfied.

We have all manner of Sonic commercials around here, but no restaurants.  Their commercials are sometimes funny, and their food always looks pretty good.  But no Sonics for us.  There are probably some in the suburbs, though.

They have excellent Cherry Limeade and TATER TOTS, but that's about it.

I also heard they put a single onion ring on EVERYTHING, including salad.  I support that.  Especially since at places with good onion rings, I always find myself wanting one or two, but not a whole order.

And it was purchased for me by one of the women that I work with, making it taste that much better.

My brother's gf came home yesterday telling me about some amazing wrap she had from Tropical Smoothie and I was like "uh, don't you mean Planet Smoothie? Or Smoothie King?" because I have never heard of Tropical Smoothie. Where is it? Is it a chain? WHY DO I NOT KNOW ABOUT SMOOTHIE PLACES IN ORLANDO PEOPLE

I think it's a chain.  There's one right off of Park Ave. in Winter Park a couple of blocks from my office.  It's way better than Planet Smoothie, at least sandwich-wise.

greek wrap. a bit too light on feta and too heavy on dressing, but that didn't stop me from wolfing it down.

After I finish my Sociology homework, I'm going to make some curried chicken salad and then I will have a delicious chicken salad sandwich.

Gosh, Heather, for a second there I thought you said you had finished your Scientology homework. And I threw up in my mouth a little bit. With awesomeness.

This one's for you, YojimboMonkey: Scientology makes the baby Xenu cry. Or something.

Have any of you ever had a vietnamese sandwich?  My wife ordered one at a vietnamese restaurant we stopped at last night, and the sandwich blew me away more than anything else we tried there (btw, never order a durian smoothie.  Ever)  It was like barbecue pork, sour carrots, raw jalapeno and cilantro on a french roll and it was pretty damn good.

Judge rules that a burrito is not a sandwich!

I mostly think this is funny because
a) It's Panera Bread and Qdoba having a fight over shopping mall space, and in my town those two establishments are practically next door to each other, and nobody cares.
b) This shit went down in Mary's old neighborhood

I think I'm going to email that link to one of my professors and ask her why we're not discussing cases like these, y'know, ones that really matter

Be careful, you might step on a nerve.  Like the time I criticized my planetary geology professor for talking about earthquakes on Mars.  He got pissed.

wait a minute... is it still an "earthquake" if it doesn't happen on planet earth?

also, the fact that this thread got bumped is coincidental, because i didn't get much sleep last night (which always makes me a) hungry and b) suggestible), and the smell of subway filtering into my store from next door is slowly but surely becoming more than i can stand to resist. i already know what i'm having for lunch. hah.
