Yeah, Annie's has bunnies all over their boxes.  But I caution you:  delicious though their food may be, their website is a nightmarish dystopia of Comic Sans.

ya know, there are few food items too rich for me...

but I just took an onion/asiago bagel and loaded it with cream cheese.  Then I put two pieces of provolone on it and 4 or 5 pieces of peppered roast beef.  I'm about three quarters through and slightly nauseous.

of course for an appetizer I ate 3 pieces of leftover pineapple/can bacon pizza with caesar dressing.

So, I'm gonna bump this.  I love my ability to bump this thread as often as I please, as I am always eating top-notch sammies.

Saturday night I had a wonderful steak sandwich at a swanky place here in town.  It was thinly sliced pieces of what I believe was fillet mignon with bleu cheese, carmelized onions, lettuce and tomato on some ridiculous garlic bread.  There had to be more to it, spice-wise, than just garlic.  Unless the flavor was coming from the bleu cheese mixing with the garlic and butter.  I don't know.  It was awesome.

freddy, your habits towards using caesar and ranch dressings on wierd things like that is unnatural, and disgusting.

I woke up at about one o' clock last night, unable to sleep again until about four.  So naturally, I used the time to make a sandwich.  I grilled two pieces of wonder bread, american cheese, parmesan cheese, and garlicy paste:

Greg's Green Garlic Goop:

-a stick of softened butter
-a whole head of roasted garlic
-1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
-1 teaspoon basil
-1 teaspoon oregano
-1/2 cup finely chopped parsley

MIX IT UP AND SPREAD IT THICK, ME BOYS.

I respect that.  I actually would hate it if anybody had started it except for my friend Jade, who is so lovely that she can pretty much do no wrong.  She also threatens to feed people "Knuckle Sams" a lot.  So, there you have it.

WHAT KIND OF GROSS CRAP ARE YOU EATING?!?!?" my point here is that it's in your power, andronicus! buy good food and prepare it! it's that simple.

This ain't the ritz!  There ain't no pesto at the fucking IGA!  Also, 10 bucks a week sounds ideal.  I am a pennypincher, mang!  All y'all live 'for the moment' fucks can go fuck yahselves, because I gotta save my money if I want to go to school!  I'm a capitalist, and that means saving now so I can die young and rich!  And that means eating ramen and plain rice and tomato sandwiches!  Which I love, don't get me wrong, it's just kinda crazy wack when you kids are talking about capers and filet mignon and shit, none of which I've ever eaten, half of which I've never even heard of.  Bleu cheese?  You spelled it wrong!  We eat Kraft where I come from dawg.

You're saying Freddy eats well?  I've seen what Freddy eats, dude.  C'mon.  That might be rich, and it might even be tasty, but that is some wacked shit.  I'll stick with grits and toast, thanksverymuch.  I eat lots of rice anyway dude, not all ramen.  I think I'm kind of one of those monk-ish dudes who just eats a bowl of rice a day and that's cool.  I should probably take some Centrum with that or something, though.

I was mostly just talking about like CAPERS and FOIE GRAS and uh FRENCH WORD foods that I thought you weren't allowed to eat until you were 40 and/or HE Pennypacker, wealthy American industrialist.  I didn't know young people ate that stuff!  Live and learn, though, man.

I think capers are fucking disgusting, anyway. I'd eat ramen over those on anything any day.

hey i saw a chef on the weekend today show demonstrate how to make some fancy grilled cheeses and other sandwiches a cubana, was one of them. anyways the interesting tip i picked up was he used a round cake pan to press down the sandwiches, better smooshing occured than with a spatula.  i think i will try this.

here are the recipes i found them for you fellow sandwich chef's

What's wrong with grits and toast? My grandfather lived off of grits and toast for breakfast for 82 years. I love grits. Is that a southern thing?

I love mah grits!  I don't front.  I'm not from the South though, but my family is from Kentucky.  Kentucky doesn't have good grits though, I never eat grits north of Tennessee, they'll most likely be disgusting.  Grits are not part of the breakfast vocabulary where I'm from, and it kind of pisses me off.  I can go to the greasy spoon and get an omelette, or the classic bacon/sausage links and eggs (minus the bacon/sausage links) with hash, or biscuits and gravy, but I can't get a side of fucking grits.  Fuck that.

I used to be into grits, but then I discovered wallpaper paste, which is much more flavorful.

Seriously, y'all don't like capers?  They're great!  Salty and... uh, salty.  Try 'em on pizza.

grits are southern, yes, and they're good at breakfast, but grits and toast as a meal? not enough. you need some eggs with that shit (and bacon, if you eat meat).

Put some butter in/on it (Mary to thread!) it'll make it taste a lot better.
