is there a vaguely steely dan-inspired  twee-pop band called "office casual?" 'cuz, if there's not, there should be.

Just kidding.  I'm not in Diet of Worms.  I've never even heard of them to tell you the truth.

actually think i've seen this in a friend's collection, so it may already be taken. but only by swedish amateurs so y'know, if you want it it's probably good.

Agape

I figured this one had probably already been taken by a Christian band as that particular word gets used a lot in Christian circles.  Google shows that I was correct:

So my friend was playing the original Zelda last night, and there are these things that look like a cross between bees and daisies.  They inspired probably the best name I've ever heard for an awful girl group:
The Daisy Bees
Feel free to use it, if you really want to, because I don't anticipate doing so.  Although it was fun last night constantly making references to our made up band.  Not that anyone here would know anything about that...

I use two band names all the time for my various projects:

Benedict Arnold and The Reason  (for general goof offery)

The Running Dog Imperialists   (i use this for everything (i guess that that's kind of obvious))

by the way, I've prowled these forums forever and never bothered to join or post. Until now I suppose.

ahahaha. I hadn't seen running dog's first posts. I thought that someone had a band name idea "hello, running dog!" and running dog  just appeared. I WAS AMAZED.

So welcome, Running Dog! You've made my night.

Anyway, after spending the past two days checking the weather over and over again, my friend and I agreed to start a band called "Storm Watch".

We will, of course, do a lot of sampling from weathermen (is sampling the right word to use? I was going to say "sound clips", but it sounded silly)

To tell everyone the truth, I hired girl. I tell her to say my name in the thread I intend on posting in before I post. It makes it all seem a bit grander.
