If someone doesn't photoshop hannah's photo with the phrase "No one understands me" I will be moderately disappointed.
I prefer "Please be my friend," personally

Anyway, I was watching the premiere of the second season of Twin Peaks just now. I think I could watch Deputy Andy hitting himself in the face with the board over and over and over again. In the meantime,
this
will have to do.

So I know that I've seen covers for keyboards somewhere, maybe on a site that sells iPod cases or something, but I can't for the life of me remember where. I came up with the temporary solution of covering the new keyboard with saran wrap, which is a bit silly, but it works fine and should help keep coffee and crumbs from ruining it, but if anyone knows where I can find an actual cover, that would be great! (Why are Apple keyboards white anyhow? It's nearly impossible to keep it looking shiny.)

Is
this
what you're looking for? I seem to enjoy cleaning and vacuuming my keyboard too much to
finally
buy it.

That's exactly the one I remember seeing. Thanks! (Why is it $25? A new keyboard is $29. I'll have to think this through.)

wow those look a lot cooler than the old yellowed translucent plastic covers they used to use at the library. It was like crusty typing.

and jesus christ i love you for it. i'm so scared and confused maaik! i feel like i'm blocking out anyone that i could truly love because of my fear but i go on autopilot you know? its some defense mechanism that comes up and i do stupid things and say stupid things to keep people i love away from me. i need to work on this. i need to let them know how i really feel and take a chance on love, i know this. i just need courage and right now i feel like the cowardly lion.
i should sleep now though because stuff always looks diff in the AM right?

It does, but morning becomes the rest of the day pretty quickly and you're still left with the same problems.
I sorta have the opposite of that problem w/r/t defense mechanisms. The first time I ever met tMO, I sorta freaked her out cos I was hyper as shit and rattling off Dismemberment Plan lyrics and basically being a spaz.
At the same time, in my less confident times, I've walked around town all night with a girl who I wanted nothing more than to profess my undying love for and not be able to stammer out two intelligible words.
If I could tell you the secret of how to Get Over It and Love Someone, I'd be unimaginably rich right now. I suppose that getting over the fear of love is like getting over any other fear--confrontation.
In the immortal words of Gary Busey, "You can't be afraid. Because fear is stupid."

I think I'm gonna make close to $500 this week. I'll be umpiring 7 Koufax baseball games at $30 a piece, 3 little league games at $22 a piece, and I'l lbe working about 28 hours at the optometrists' office at $8.75 an hour. That's good, but it's also a lot of work, and if my stomach starts acting up, it could be pure misery. I'm thinking heavy doses of pain medication (Tramadol) will have to be employed.

Man, Tramadol makes my stomach act up even more.
In other news, I only slept for about 2 hours last night. Today sucks already. What a way to start a week...
