I've never been jazzed about Chick-fil-A, myself.

I envy blucas's burger, though.  Perhaps I picked up bluc's PSYCHIC BURGER TRANSMISSIONS last night.

Oh man, last week was such a good week for burgers.  Three nights, three burgers from three different delivery places I hadn't tried before.

As I've mentioned in these pages I really like to cook, and I really like to cook fairly elaborate dishes and combinations (especially the le Fronch style), but I think the cheeseburger is still my hands-down favorite food to prepare.

Really? What is wrong with you?

The bun is soft and hot and just a little crispy on the insides, the chicken has a perfect buttery crispness that easily gives way to the tender goodness underneath.  A couple bites in and there's the surprise tart of the pickles... it's a delicious, fulfilling sandwich experience which is all-too-fleeting.  Plus: waffle fries!  And sweet tea!

Apparently, there is a Chic-fil-a somewhere on the NYU campus, so you aren't far from civilization up there.  Do yourself a favor: get there in time for breakfast and try a chicken biscuit.  I do not care if you have put the inferior McDonald's simulacrum in your mouth, I do not care at all.  I also do not care for the raised eyebrows I get when I offer that you eat chicken for breakfast.  A buttery, flaky warm biscuit--halved--tenderly hugging a breaded breast of chicken is not to be questioned.  It is to be savored as the gift that it is.

Be warned: on-campus franchises are sometimes run and stocked by whatever company has the food contract with the school. It might be a Chick-Fil-A in name only.

Do be careful of that.  You may want to fly down to Atlanta, just to be on the safe side.

Actually I think the Chick-Fil-A at NYU either closed or sucks or both.  I've heard rumors.

Either way, it's a damn shame.
