plus every time during the wedding I wanted to escape back to the room, one of the 2 couples I was sharing it with was in there sexxin.  so I don not feel I got my money's worth.  from now on, I bring my tent.

Just got back from work and a hellish drive that saw me nearly run out of gas while in traffic gridlock in downtown Los Angeles because I'm an idiot. So that was enough stress for the day, I'm gonna shower and watch movies now. I have kinky 70s porn and forgotten 70s drama, I think I'll go for the former first.

GOD I HATE THAT.

My usual scenario goes that I'll be almost out of gas in the evening, but too tired to get gas on the way home. Then I'll wake up too late to stop for gas on the way to school. By that time, I'll be running on fumes and the gas station nearest to school (okay... the gas station that isn't at least a quarter more than the majority) is at least two miles away from school on the main drag that's always full of cars. So I'll have a harrowing two mile drive where I'll hit every red light along the way and pray that I don't run out of gas in the middle of gridlock.

Ew, that sounds like a major bummer unless your job is really fun. 

Meanwhile, I have no idea.  I took a shower and for some reason got all ready to do something, I even put bobby pins in my hair and am wearing a skirt and lip gloss.  Normally there has to be some kind of planned event for me to do that, so I don't know what's up.

If I don't send out this job application today, I'm screwed. Not that I'll get the job. But I best try, right?

I'd like also to work more on this short story that's haunted me now since June 10, and scan in some of the drawings I've been doing.

If anyone is interested in taking a look at my short story, that'd be super-awesome, although I may chicken out and never send it to you. Eh.

Good luck with the hair mos!  You have reminded me that I need a haircut desperately but it is not something I am gonna do yet because I am lazy and poor and trust no one.

ha!  that's it exactly.  I never understood why I hated getting hair cuts so much.  this was the most expensive haircut I've ever gotten (I guess I'm not quitting my job anytime soon), but it was with an awesome person who I would totally hang out with IRL (she's a drummer when she's not cutting hair) in her apartment in the east village instead of some yucky salon, and she's been cutting my friend's hair for years.  so I let down my guard and trusted her.  and was rewarded with a fabulous hair cut.  whooo!

now I'm gonna get this work done so I can get out of her, and hopefully put the bottle of wine in my bag to good use.
