Pan De Yuca sounds interesting--does it end up like zucchini bread? 

It's sort of a chewy, cheesey kind of bread, if it's done well.  I think I either added too much flour, cooked it for too long, or overmixed the cheese with the dry ingredients; mine was a bit drier than I would have liked.  I'm excited about trying it again, though.

Chewy cheesy bread sounds pretty awesome, actually.  I'm looking forward to ceviche next time I sample Ecuadorian food.  This time the ceviche was subtitled as "shrimp cocktail" and I didn't that sounded very impressive.

Well, my usual Monday night activity of eating 50 cent tacos has been cancelled because that bar is closed for the holiday. And earlier as I was downloading the latest episode of Flight of the Conchords I noticed I was downloading at like 1.3 Mb/sec somehow, so I'm thinking of taking advantage of this and redownloading and watching a whole shit load of Battlestar Galactica, probably while drinking dunkelweizen.

I'm gonna get up early and go to Cuttyhunk for the weekend.  for a wedding.  hopefully it will be fun, but we'll see.  also, then I will return to NYC at last.  I'm gonna stay in one city for awhile.  finally.  and no more weddings until next summer.  wedding season is officially OVER people.  do you hear me?

Early morning
* Post to MHC
*  Cook and eat chicken casserole (yay for comfort food)
* Spend ages squinting at and cursing my aging laptop while redoing stupid Audacity projects for which I accidentally deleted (like properly no recovery program works deleted) key files

Mid morning
* Play around with music stuff (like Actual Instruments and Actual Singing not frickin' Audacity rubbish)
* Go to the shops for some groceries

Late afternoon
* Take a bus into town and have a cafe and croissant

Early evening
* Check my email and the internets
* Lie around in bed repeatedly hitting the snooze button on the alarm

Saturday night
* Wake up refreshed (ha ha ha) and ready for the new day

I'm gonna play guitar for an hour or so, which I started again recently after a .... seven year? I think...hiatus.  And do dishes and put my new one bedroom apt in order and think about how much better off I am now than I was a year (and two apartments!) ago.

2 nights
this weekend's wedding:  $50 for round trip on ferries, $100 for one night of room.  plus I still owe a gift.  yeesh.  It was strange and amazing and horrible, though, so I guess worth the money in a way.
