Wow, I went to the grogery store today to get some yogurt to have at work, but then I found the serving-size pots of cottage cheese and bought a pack of those instead. I have already consumed half of them.

You're probably right. I fucking love cottage cheese. Also, they had some with fruit already mixed in, which I don't get. I mean, I like fruit fine, but cottage cheese is already SO GOOD, why would you do anything to it?

I used to always put ketchup on it when I was little. I haven't done it for awhile though. Sadly there is none left here, so I can't try it.

y'all are grossing me out.
they gave me a bagel with cream cheese by accident (or maybe out of spite what do I know) one time, and I was all, "what the hell, I'll eat it"
I felt like I was going to die for like, the next two days.

Result of a shopping trip funded with the return of one pair of shoes (and cheap ones at that):
Small bottle of laundry detergent
Shampoo
Conditioner
Ingredients for a double batch of corn casserole
6 pack of Easy Mac
Pack of cigarettes
One dollar
Reasons I need to stop buying shoes I don't need:
See above

projects & hobbies I wish I had more time for:
* photograhy, espeically architecture photograhy
* playing violin
* writing about architecture
* writing music
* imaginary house for a friend I'm working on in my spare time
* cooking, especially baking
* yoga+pilates
* sewing
* travelling
* concert-going
* gardening (indoor)
things I should probably spend more time on even though I don't want to:
* housekeeping
* bill paying
* budget making
things I should probably spend less time on if I want to have time for the first list:
* dinking around on the internets
* sleeping
somehow, the maths just aren't working out.

things i should be working on writing during my spare time (and how much i actually have done on them):
-the novel idea i've had since last winter (3 page plot summary, various scenes and pieces of scenes from the first 10 or so chapters, extensive notes about the fantasy world in which it takes place)
-record reviews for ghetto blaster magazine (10 or so are done, 15 or so left to go--haven't touched these in around a month)
-regular blog entries (have been doing pretty close to one a week; things are actually pretty good where this is concerned, though i'd like to DEFINITELY do one a week and not just sometimes almost manage it)
-paper journal entries (done maybe two in the past two months, both of which cut off in midsentence because i was writing in public and people started talking to me)
-revision of the three stories based on smiths songs that i wrote between 1999 and 2003 for collection into a manuscript (none of these have been touched since 2003, one is still in the first draft i banged out in one night four years ago)
-new version of the locally-based hardcore zine i did during 2006 (have two interviews transcribed, both of which are now over a year old; also have a bunch of really old record reviews that i should probably scrap for the most part)
-email to a girl on okcupid (i wrote her randomly about 2 weeks ago, she responded 4 days ago; i feel pretty ok about not having responded to her yet)
-more random craigslist missed connections (these are fun but the spirit hasn't moved me lately even though i'm still seeing roughly 150 cute girls a day)
-full tradelist so that i can sell more records on vlv (have complete lists of my 7 inches, 10 inches, and odd-sized vinyl, but only have a-h of the 12 inches typed up)
i should print this out and tape it to the wall behind my computer monitor.

treats I bought at the store to eat, since I worked late and have to get to work early tomorrow:
frozen cheese lasagna
greek yogurt
1/2 gallon of milk
creme caramel ice cream
apparently I have some kind of dairy fetish.

Hey, I just bought Greek yogurt today too. Ever since LPTJ taught me to consume it with honey, I've been a big fan. I get the non-fat kind, though, since I have compulsive tendencies that would not sit well with the full thick stuff. It's the reason I rarely ever buy ice cream, because I tear through it in a day. Also the reason I've mostly avoided drugs throughout my life.

heh--all those things are true of me, except that I don't get the non-fat kind.

I only started after I ate about three rounds of the stuff one day, happened to glance at the stats on the side, and realized I'd consumed about 450% of my USRDA of fat. Because I'm too lazy to maintain my running schedule about a third of the time, this was a bit frightening.

woah--there is an empty ice cream pint container in front of me. I think that means I just ate an entire pint of ice cream.

anyone who dies after a pint of ice cream is no friend of mine!
Reasons why Mark McGrath makes me uncomfortable:
-I think he might be a cylon
-his eyes are little hole into a very very vacant eternity
-I used to mix him up with Tim McGraw
-He now hosts an access hollywood show called extras?
-I've had a sugar ray song stuck in my head for three days now
-and when you gooooo go go go. I know. It never ends.

back before mark mcgrath was anyone anybody had ever heard of, he appeared in the background of the headbanger's ball pool party episodes. the earliest sugar ray stuff was vaguely punkish. "fly" was the only song on the first album that sounded like that. so they had a hit with it, and completely changed their sound to sound like that all the time.
i say all this by way of explaining that mark mcgrath has no soul.
