Dreams You HAD

Last night I dreamt my sister and I were camping overnight in the home and garden section at Wal Mart. The next day she refused to drive me home and I missed my son's birthday party. I was screaming at her at the Wal Mart checkout while she was paying for like, three cartloads of brooms and potato chips. The checkout girl was embarrassed. My sister owed me like $700 because that's how much she got from the cashier in change and she attempted to give it to me but I started crying and I was like, "You keep it! I don't want it. You made me miss my kid's birthday!" Is that some weird-ass fucking shit? Not to mention I woke up at 5am and thougth it was Saturday and spent the next hour in bed staring at the alarm clock with a relaxed and goofy expression.
I emailed my sister when I got to work and was like, "thanks for inviting me for a campout at wal mart and then not driving me home so I missed my kid's birthday party," and yes, it's a JOKE, but you know, there's some REAL anger there.

edit: but the old one is 18 pages long, are we still killing really long threads?

word. This is what I posted in the other dream thread and am reposting here, because, you know, WHY:
I dreamed last night that my father had cancer and very little time left to live and my stepmom refused to take him to the doctor b/c of the Lord and his magical healing ways (note, in real life she is a Lutheran and not a Christian Scientist) . I think I was crying in my sleep. Also my sister was raising rabbits and took them outside for food only they froze to death and separated their own HEADS FROM THEIR NECKS to try and drink water from frozen puddles and ponds and she and my dad went outside to collect them and carried them inside, one by one, decapitated part by decapitated part.
Hold me.

Last week, I dreamed that I entered a watery-mirrored-surface-something and ended up in Heaven which is a large park with a baseball diamond. Jesus was walking around, and he looked like some young white guy with cap on. I walked with God, who looked "Mediterranean", over to a pen of small guinea pig/goat-like animals with varying fur lengths. The one short-haired animal was trying to squeeze in between a group of very long-haired thing. God and I laughed, and then we walked over to this structure made of logs, but before I went in, the dream ended.
Also I don't think I believe in these versions of "God" and Heaven and all that, I guess I'm agnostic. Vestigial Catholicism?

-Searched for a helicopter on the beachfront
-Stabbed some guy in an ultimate fighting championship
-Cut my hair, which had grown unmanageably long and also blue
-Puzzled over a can of Instant Pancake mix which used rainwater and concrete as ingredients

I had a dream that all the tires on my car went flat. Why are my dreams so boring? I always seem to just dream about things I worry about.

This happened to me last week and it kind of screwed with me for a couple of days. I don't know...nostalgia is strange sometimes, I guess.

I had a terrible dream like that once. I mean, the dream itself was amazing, but the aftermath was awful. There was a guy I grew up with, knew my whole life, named Ryan. We went to church together our whole lives, and he was a couple years older than me, but he had a sister who was only a year older than me, and she and I were friends. Through my early life, I had that kind of odd relationship that girls often have with their friends older brothers. I couldn't stand him, but he was also one of my first crushes. As I got older, and actually got to know him, I found out he was really amazing. We went to high school together a couple years, and I got to know him better since we were involved in the same activities. I always kind of imagined that I'd end up marrying him or something, just because he had been such a staple of my whole life, and I know for a fact that he has heavily influenced what I look for in a man. He joined the army out of high school, and a few years ago, just before Christmas, he was killed in a training exercise. Even though I hadn't seen him for years, it was, and still is immensely hard to imagine a world that he isn't in. Just knowing he was out there somewhere made me feel better about the world sometimes. A few months after he died, I had a really realistic dream that I went up to Iowa to visit, and he was there! He was just fine, and everything had been a misunderstanding, and the two of us fell in love and were going to get married. It was the nicest dream I ever had. I woke up, and for several minutes, that wonderful feeling stuck with me. I was so happy that Ryan was still alive, the world was still a place that had him in it, and was that much better for it. Eventually, of course, I came to and realized it was just a dream, and it was like him dying all over again. It was awful.

We were all on our way to Pitchfork, but when we stopped by RavingLunatic's house to pick him up, he felt too sick to go. Tired of using the door, I jumped out his window. Only midway down the 60-foot drop did I realize that the potential for inury could occur.

I just dreamt that my Mom, the priest from my elementary school, and myself were driving through the desert when our car broke down. So we hopped in the back of a semi's trailer and then it got to be late so we hopped off and built a fire on the shoulder of the road, but we needed some food, so I ran down the road to a horse ranch that seemed to mostly be operated by incredibly beautiful women. I got some milk and a package of Chips Ahoy from their kitchen and stole a large white stallion and rode up to another campsite, where my mom's family was having a family reunion. My Uncle Bob was there (He's been dead for a few years now) and he had shaved most of my mom's head but left enough on the front of her head to style a two-foot long multi-colored horn with a red sombrero hanging on the point, all made out of her hair. My mom was really happy about it, but I was very disappointed in her. My grandma was there and she was talking to a park ranger because she had a whole bunch of rice krispie cookies and chocolate chip cookies in her tent. They put handcuffs on her and that's when I woke up.

I had embarked on an epic journey: backpack around the country, going to every major city and visiting a college class in each. The first one was a GLBT studies class in some corporate university, possibly Pepsi or Nextel University, though I forget.
It was the first day of classes so there was a whole lot of introduction. This is when I realized that part of the classroom was flooded with water up to my neck, and that I had a tire iron with me. I think a teaching assistant noticed the tire iron and came back to take it, but fortunately the girl next to me hid it underwater.
At this point the water disappeared again, and I noticed a group of gay dudebrahs. At first I was pleased to see that the dudebrahs in this part of the country were openly gay, until they started fondling one another, and then started fondling me. I tried to tell them to stop but they wouldn't. I thought about defending myself with the tire iron but I didn't want to get it taken away, so I pulled a knife instead. This is when the girl next to me, and another girl in front of me, came to my aid, also with knives. We forced the gay dudebrahs back, then escaped, because that shit doesn't fly in GLBT studies class. I remembered the girls being pretty cool, at least one of them, and I was looking forward to more adventures, then the dream ended.

Having woken up at nine I fell back to sleep for a couple of hours. During that time I dreamed that the man I occasionally sleeping with back home ripped my cock of with his teeth. I genuinely love what being in bologna brings out in me.

I had a dream last night i was watching these kids play in the yard across the street. and they were running across the street and I was telling them to stop that because of the danger. They kept doing it and one came close. I was getting frustrated and after the kid came close to getting hit i yelled GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE ROAD. The parents were mad at me, and I told them it was because i was scared for the boy, but really I yelled so crudely because I wanted the kids to listen to me.

Last night I dreamed that I found a giant ant. It was the size of a medium dog, and it behaved very much like one. It was super cute and cuddly and very lovable! They my co-worker decided that it had to die, so she took it to a bridge in the middle of nowhere and shot it through the head with a hand gun. I was really sad.

I woke up scratching myself all over, thinking something must have been biting me as I slept. But as I regained consciousness, I realized I wasn't itchy at all; I think I just dreamed I was itchy.

I don't remember the specifics but I dreamt that I had this long conversation with some guy (it may have been my dad, I don't remember) about how Frank Zappa's Läther was his greatest album and one of the greatest album of all time and he went into this whole detail about the album and why it is so good and I wish I could remember what it was. Pretty strange dream, but now, what dream isn't?

in an attempt to get on a more normal and less depressing sleep schedule, I went to bed early tonight and am only half-way through my sleep, but I thought I'd share:
I was watching some sports game at a big sporting event, but I was the only girl there. I didn't understand what was happening and so I'd try to ask someone around me (I was surrounded, weirdly, by pretty much every boy I've ever met if they weren't on the playing field), and they would get eighteen kinds of angry and say "WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE!", but then when I tried to leave I was told it was against the law and so I just had to sit there watching a made up dream sport that was pretty violent and getting dirty looks from people I know .

I dreamed that I was pregnant, and I was freaking outttttt about the psychological ramifications of knocked-up-without-husband dreams until I realized that just before I went to sleep I had been reading a book where the narrator is knocked up and without husband, and I guess sometimes dreams don't really have to mean much of anything.
