t&p--i don't know what's going on with that pic, but it sure appears to be your right hand you're doing that with.

coney island, though dramatically different from how it used to be, is so beautiful.  perhaps this belongs in the unsurprising revelations thread, but, anyway:

There was a drag fashion show on my block last night. The full set, including many blurry photos because I have the hands of an 87-year-old lady and one that I do not dare post here because it is one of the ladies wearing nothing but strategically placed cut-out fabric hearts, is here.

Dublin City Cycle, Sunday 29th July, 11am.  I'm in both of these.  (Photos taken by my boss, who goes by the name of John Henry.)

Gentlemen and ladies,

let us debate the sunglasses.
Via a poorly-written editorial, I have come to learn that my alma mater has an official stance on really huge sunglasses. And it is anti. However: I like mine. And I do not want to be Mary-Kate Olsen when I grow up.

And what is the deal with those huge sunglasses that take up half of a face?

Ha ha, DAMN!  OWNED!  So TRUE!

What IS the deal with those?

Ha ha!!!!  Joke's on YOU, huge-sunglasses wearers!  FUCK!

I don't understand why this guy's not working for the Washington Post or something!  nonotyet, do you know if he's ever made any trenchant observations about airplane food?

Men always leave the toilet seat up Greg!  Epic lulz!

As for the sunglasses.  I don't mind them in theory, it's just annoying that it's standard uniform for every girl at this point.  Weirdly it crosses subcultural lines, too.

Also yours aren't that big.

[Greg], I'm not really sure. Also, those Packers sure are having a __________ season. But he has a point, my face is half-baked and overly made up, and I DID expletive him in Cancun.

Mine are not that big, but they have a fake Chanel logo! woooooooooo I got pretense

The big sunglasses are just like everything else.  They are spectacular on the people who can pull them off, and awful on the people who can't.  I personally love them, but I've seen people wearing them who need to stop, seriously.  Yours are cute.

My wife wears big sunglasses and always has a pair in the car.  I don't mind the face-engulfing nature of them so much.  But she gets the blue-blocker ones that are amber and I hate how when you're wearing them they give everything this crappy yellow tint, like you're looking at the world through a bad camera with no flash.

I've got a pair of aviators that I found laying on a picnic table on Cumberland Island.  I wear 'em over my glasses when I'm driving and it's sunny out.

Before that, I'd steal tMO's big sunglasses.  I got nothin against 'em.

Now, those frameless wraparound Beyonce sunglasses--usually with little rhinestones in em--those are retarded.

I hope you're not stopping off at CDG, though, because the corollary to my above statment is their ground crews will make you wish you were dead.

I have to post this photo of myself with two students because, well, we all look mentally deficient in it.  They came up to me with a camera phone and said, "you must open your eyes VERY big!"  They showed me how they wanted me to do it (I'm not sure why they wanted this; it probably had something to do with me being white), and the result was....
