Be an honorary Jew for the day.
How do I become an honorary Jew for always. I am willing to renounce Christmas and all things Christian for always and ever.

Yeah, but jeb, you still gotta be into Yahweh.
On topic: one of my sister's friends/fellow-teachers just went through a particularly messy divorce, and he was going to be alone on Christmas, so she made him come to our family's Christmas dinner instead. He seemed to enjoy himself more than he would have if he'd gone with his backup plan, which had been watching It's A Wonderful Life and thinking the opposite. So that was good. Strays, strays, come to us.

This christmas actually didn't turn out too bad after all! Hung out on christmas eve, and got invited to my friends for dinner yesterday. His mum spoiled me, then we played video games and watched simpsons. Then I came home and drank this awesome pervuian beer and watched gremlins.
I actually turned people down today just to get a bit of peace and quiet!
Merry christmas, everyone, and let's be awesome next year.
I hope that everyone is having happy holidays.

Worst bit about this job on Christmas day is that some of the patients here don't get any family visiting, second worst thing is that there are some that do, but shortly after their family leave the patient forgets that their family was just there. Not all the patients are like that, but a few. You have to talk them through what their visit was like, they might not recall it but they get to think for a little while that they haven't been left alone. It's tempting to tell those without any family visits that their son/daughter/brother/sister just left, and had been here for a while, but there's no way of knowing whether you'd get called on it.
Just wanted to say that I think you are awesome for doing what you do, especially at christmas.
