I'd like Anne Hathaway if she were weirder. She seems like she could be a little "out there," a little strange, but instead she backs out of
Knocked Up
and we get instead the cypher who is Katherine Heigl, who makes an empty role even emptier (if pretty, that I know) (and if we're talking
Roswell
stars, I take Heigl over Appleby, fair nuff). But as far as Hollywood brunettes go, and such, Selma Blair is Anne Hathaway times ten, but that's a dumb contest, because Hathaway is close enough to zero, if not zero itself, plus teeth, big ones; blank, like Liv Tyler.
I think too much about this, but I have to look out for people who have dark brown hair. And
doesn't cut it sorry. The cheese, maybe, though.

See but for me, Selma Blair was in
Cruel Intentions
and I can't dissociate her from that character.
Not that I am going to spend an entire page defending Anne Hathaway here. I am just saying.

Career choices are career choices, lady, and they can be bad, yeah. I'm saying, hey, she's woefully underused. Anne Hathaway is not underused, one, and she also is, like I sez, not "weird" enough for me to care. I'm not going to try to explain this one. It's just true!

Christina Applegate owns them all. She was in
Streets
. And when did P.M. Dawn ever mention Selma Blair or Cameron Diaz or Anne Hathaway?

I saw a pre-screening of Superbad last night, which was pretty fucking hilarious. Better than Knocked Up, I think.
IAWTC
Also, Shia LaBeouf is a totally reasonable actor.

Ha ha, I just remembered I saw Hairspray yesterday. It was a matinee screening and it permitted me not to socialize with a former co-worker who irritates me. Even so, what a waste.

Again, it's not that I hate him, I'm just a bit bored by him, and mystified as to why he went from "nobody" to "landing huge role after huge role" in about a week.

Yes, there's such a dearth of young male actors out there. Thank god the scruffy young Mac guy has stepped forward to assume his rightful place in the Hollywood pantheon.
EDIT: Wait, I just realized the Transformers guy and the Mac guy are two different people. Huh. What's up with this generation, anyway?

In "Transformers" or in the new Indiana Jones? Either way, let me know and I'll give you a list of 20 names.
Also, I'm no Zac Efron partisan, but I fail to see how he's any worse, really.

Though if DCDave likes Shia, maybe its my business sense that fails me. I guess if he appeals to the "yuppie looking to recapture his 80s youth" demo then he's the perfect person to cast in Transformers and Indiana Jones.

Heads up, blucas: if you only have nineteen names, and you need a twentieth to round out the list, you can use that Mac guy. It turns out that he and Shia LaBoeuf are different people.

haha I'm surprised, Nog, they don't even really look much alike.
For simplicity's sake, I'll stick to better actors around his same age who are would cost the same or less. Most aren't as well-known as him, and I suspect that Shia's relatively high name-rec:price ratio is largely responsible for his sudden omnipresence. If we open it up to any price range, or to any 20something actor, obvs. there are a zillion people out there.
I'm stuck at 15, but that's just off the top o' my head. I'll post it after work, If you really want me to.
