I've seen recipes for using Kool-Aid to dye stuff, but never tried it beyond my hair in 8th grade.

I didn't! But it's likely whoever told me about it did! I heated a cup and a half of water in the microwave and stirred in six or ten packets of unsweetened Cherry. Stuck my ponytail in it and reclined uncomfortably on the floor watching TV for two hours or however long I could stand it before washing out. Here is embarrassing photo evidence.

Brooklyn Brainery.  It was two sessions, an hour-and-a-half each, aimed at people who were total beginners.  That's me!

Not besides some pants-hemming, really.  Though if my cousins keep crankin' out babies, I'll have to make more baby-quilt squares soon.
