I got it at Target.  I think it was only a 30-day return policy.  I've already arranged with the manufacturer to have it repaired under warranty, it's just a pain in the ass and the repair center's way the fuck out in the west suburbs.

Also I already hooked up a little 19-inch TV to the Xbox 360 so that Damian can play the game he got for his birthday.  Actually I probably ought to be sending him to bed but what the hell, it's his birthday.

I don't think I've ever even seen a 4000USD tv. We have a fucking bigun in the store, but I don't think it's 4 large.

So there is some ass classic rock station here in NC, and they have this series of commercials on tv that focus on an artist and how they, the station, KNOW THEM. OK and on the Eagles one the cheesy baritone announcer is all 'They understand our Saturday nights... and our Sunday mornings.' It's not as funny or as annoying when I type it, but still. I hate the fucking Eagles, man.

So we've gone a couple months without a wreck on the road that runs in front of the dealership, but apparently the drivers around here decided to make up for that in grand fashion today.  I swear, middle GA has absolutely the worst drivers I have ever seen.  Seriously, they drive about 10 under the speed limit, but have no idea what's going on around them, so there are constant wrecks.  I didn't see so many wrecks when I lived near Atlanta.  One guy flipped his Explorer coming out of the parking lot across the road.  There is no hill.  There was nothing wrong with his vehicle.  It was not a sharp turn.  It is a mystery how he did it, but he did.

I remember when we were in Atlanta for spring break, and there had been like 150 road fatalities since the first of the year.

annoying me right now?

Sam Adam's 12pk's of Winter sampler were on sale.  I got one because I like the cream stout, the porter, and the other beers are pretty good for the price.  So what's the problem?  I didn't notice that the sampler include 2 Cranberry Lambics.  ugghghghgghghhghhghghghg.  Now I'm out of beer and I have to drink two fucking cranberry lambics

Oh, hm, Target has a 90 day return policy and they'd just give you a new one if you had the receipt or the credit card you purchased it on. But nevermind since you're getting it repaired.

My manager gave me some cards to send out to customers. The text on the card is so embarrassing and poorly written that I'm not sure I can bring myself to actually send them out. Transcribed for your amusement:

Quote
December 2007

Dear

Thank you for shopping with me this year. It has been my pleasure and privilege to serve you. At this busy time of year, I would like to help facilitate your shopping experience and would love the opportunity to add my personal touch to your holiday shopping.

Simply use this holiday wish list to brainstorm gift ideas for your friends and family. Then, please give me a call, and I will happily discuss options I think would be perfect. At your convenience, please come in and choose from my hand-picked, personalized selection, or I will send items to your home, free of charge.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Happy holidays!

Yeah. . .  Confused

edit: I should mention that the inside of the card has a chart for the customer to fill out:
Aunt Meg  likes movies, Coach, going to dinner. . .
