Yes.  I want one and I would probably have to get one for my coworker as well.

Wait, is that your bear, DT? What's the story behind that?

haha i guess the collar does kinda make him look like a pet, but it just means he's wandered into the village one too many times or broken into someone's house (bear b+e's are pretty common there), so the municipalities already had to relocate him.

apparently this was a bad summer in whistler and they've had to destroy a record number of bears (17?), which is pretty sad because they usually only poke around when people are irresponsible and leave their garbage out or something.

anyhow this was taken on my buddies porch in creekside.

I was doing a GIS on 'tourist', when this came up (linked, cause it's quite large):

It's a photo of a sign in Thailand warning tourists against the consequences of sex tourism.

Wow!

I know! Somewhere in California, apparently. The bear panicked when a couple of cars approached and tried to jump over the rail of the bridge. I can't work out how he managed to cling on there, as the shadows on one of the pictures clearly show that the arch is further in than the bit he jumped from.

that's it, they need to make an action movie starring a bear.  not some disney shit, like bruce willis style action movie.  and i'm not thinking The Bear (hmm, i was gonna put an imdb link to that but they didn't have it.  it was a c.1990 movie that was almost completely silent, just the adventures of a bear in the wild until he ran into human contact.  it was a pretty cool movie but i can't remember the exact name, or imdb has no record of it)

Is that the one where the bear eats some shrooms and sees a giant ant running around?

YES!  I remember watching that in my video class in high school.  A friend of mine was sitting next to me and when the bear started trippin, he practically yelled "Bears don't get high!  BEARS DON'T GET HIGH!"

Doesn't Bart the Bear have some gay bear sex too? I haven't seen that movie since it was in the theater, but I think I recall that being the case.

He inflated his scrotum with saline.

You know, to protest against a society that is too proud of progress to pump their ballsacks full of saltwater.
