The pictures can be viewed large, ie read the articles without killing your vision here.

...also, I am not sure that Kopp's Frozen Custard has ever sold an "antioxidant-infused pomegranate" flavor

Kopp's is a good way to get a heart attack!  Sooooo delicious, though.

Yay Milwaukee!  Man, I miss being home.  So much.

Edit to say that the Mars Cheese Castle (however awesome) is not in Milwaukee.  Sad

Edit again 'cause I've met that Juiceboxxx kid, and, uh, weird.  Weird.

I have a friend down here who's from wisconsin (oshkosh and surrounding areas) and she brought home from her visit this summer something called cheese curds.  they look like packing noodles and squeak when you eat them.  SO good and oh so strange.  She is vegan so she tried to introduce them to all her non vegan friends down here so she can experience the squeeky goodness vicariously.  do you know what I'm talking about?

Cheese curds are DELICIOUS.  SO GOOD.  You have to eat them fresh, though -- that's why you can't really get them elsewhere, 'cause they really need to be eaten on the day they're made.  When they squeak, you know they're fresh.

I've been looking through my shoebox (well, technically boot box) full of pre-digital age photos.  here's an amusing one:

taken a couple of weeks before my 16th birthday.  I am practicing parallel parking between a garbage can and a piece of plywood propped up against a lawn chair (I think that's my mom in the car with me).  I still have awesome parallel parking skills, which were much in demand during the road trips this summer.  as a matter of fact, I should add that to my resume...

I thought I was an outstanding parallel parker while driving my 94 2 door nissan sentra, but then I inherited my current sedan from my grandpa and found out it was just having the teeny car that made things so easy.

I used to be awesome at parallel parking back when I drove a giant boat car around and had to park it in tiny little spots in the busiest part of town.

I'm still ok, but out of practice.

Hey you should have gone to Chicago and hung out with them like the rest of us did. You'd like them even better.
