It's 3:30am where I am. I took a two-hour nap in the middle of the day and then had a cup of coffee at 11pm and then I wrote 2000 words. Feeling pretty okay, better than I have all week. Just watched an episode of Cupid. I should go to sleep. Question is if I should sleep in the guest bed we have (which I'm lying on right now) or risk waking Jacob up.

I spent $100 on Christmas presents today!  You heard me, $100!  I guess it's not that much, really, but I still have quite a bit of shopping to do.  My mom's throwing this little Christmas party the Saturday after I get home with the long-term friends of the family who are basically aunts and uncles to me.  It's nice knowing that I have things to give them which they will enjoy, but man, I hate shopping.  Mom even left the Christmas tree up in the living room to continue the festive spirit, but I suspect it's also partially because she was too lazy to take it down and wants me to do so once the party is over.  Which I will be happy to do, of course.  I am a good daughter.  Kind of.

Thing is, I'm reading the forums and there's probably no one around because a) all the America-land people are probably asleep and b) it's the weekend.  Sad.
