I'm not sure if I ever said "FUCKING AWESOME", but it's true that I have a higher threshold for androids singing classic rock than blucas does.

I wouldn't go that far.  It would've been way better had they sung, say, "Back in Black" or "Proud Mary" or "The Promised Land."  Oh wow, it really should've been "The Promised Land."

Or possibly the LOTR verse from "Ramble On."

If we see a musical number from the old-school toasters we finally saw speak again in Razor then all will be forgiven. though.

Is Project Runway se. 4 gonna be on iTunes? Someone told me that since NBC is Bravo's parent, there wouldn't be any new episodes... But I coulda swore that whole thing happened prior to the last season of Top Chef, and every episode of that was posted...

I'm only 3 episodes in, but I totally barf up my heineken whenever replacement-outcast-highschooler-but-boyishly-handsome-and-dreamy is on the screen

Not just you: Tim Kring even publicly apologized to the fans. The dude you barf at also played Hunter, Jan's assistant, on The Office last season.

P.S. Cue several posts about barfing up Heineken to begin with.

I mean, I could handle it at first: I just kept waiting for him to get impaled or something.  But no: no impalement.  I think it reached its pinnacle of lameness when they did the "whole new world" alladin scene.

Meanwhile, the sixth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm has just ended and no one cares. What the fuck, LPTJ?

I wasn't planning to spoil anything - just meant to rep for Larry is all! Yeah, it's been a great season.

I think I'm just gonna wait for the DVDs to watch this season of Curb. Well, how many episodes was it?

Oh HELL no

Nobody can ever say that Matt Czuchry is a victim of typecasting. He's following up his memorable stint as hard-living bad boy Logan on Gilmore Girls with an arc on Friday Night Lights as -- I kid you not -- a devout Christian. Natch, he's being introduced to the show via the newly religious Lyla.

Though sadly it's not the "Worst Casting of an Evangelical Christian on a Show Blucas Likes" this year.

I think we all know who gets that award.

Also I was really hoping the teen-threesome plotline would kill off the Jesus-plotline but sadly it's not looking that way.

It's all the fault of those wide-legged, New Yorker reading, artsy, gender-nonspecific HBO subscribers.

To help clarify; they're generally single-fathers with Wii addictions and a penchant for Danzig.

Hey MOTHERFUCKER, say what you want about the temerity of requesting Danzig's Mother at a Cat Power show, I was ahead of my time, as look at Will Oldham's new "ask forgiveness" EP tracklist (#3):

01 I Came Here to Hear the Music (Mickey Newbury cover)
02 I've Seen It All (Björk cover)
03 Am I Demon (Danzig cover)
04 My Life (Phil Ochs cover)
05 I'm Loving the Street (Will Oldham original)
06 The Way I Am (Mekons / Merle Haggard / Sonny Throckmorton cover)
07 Cycles (Frank Sinatra cover, written by Gayle Caldwell)
08 The World's Greatest (R. Kelly cover)

I knew there was a Danzig/indie cover resurgence. I KNEW it. No apology necessary; I know you're sorry.

Why did it take me this long to watch The Office? Dwight is my boyfriend, for reals.

I like Pushing Daisies.

And I'm finding I have a growing crush on Kristen Chenoweth.

I finished Deadwood. I liked it, but it doesn't feel complete to me somehow. I'm gonna go back to re-watching The Wire until Oz gets here next week.
