Hey, so the studios agreed to go agreed to go back to the table! This is fantastic news. I did not think this would happen until after the new year.
Which make the Lost thing even more funny. If dude had waited a day, he could've gone back to his (non-writing) work without scabbing. Hahaha douchebag. Even if your show is the only thing airing new episodes in January I'm not watching it.

i really wish his character would develop to the point where he can spit out a sentence without hesitating or stuttering. i know it was meant as sort of a character trait at first, but its kind of annoying to listen to. maybe his womanizing will change his speech patterns. that's all i hope for. and for someone who didn't watch the last half of the first season - who is the hispanic girl that lives with he and his grandmother now?

She is an aide for his grandmother, and she was assigned to work for their family after his dad went back to Iraq. She is supposed to be either in college or just out of college. A lot of people hate their storyline because she is kind of embodying a lot of stereotypes (she's FIREY! and is good at DANCING! etc) and also what we are meant to learn given where it went last night is that older ladies lose all sense of decorum and control when they are faced with one of these very-much younger than-them football players.
What I have noticed is the further away Matt gets from his relationship with Julie, the less he stutters. Sort of.

I was sure NNY was finally consulted for last night's ep because there was a MKE shoutout.

that new journalism teacher looks like he was in some early 90s boys band. i was trying to figure out who he reminded me of - maybe george michael, with a touch of brian austin green or vanilla ice. what's the odds of some pervy relationship developing with him and julie?

If it DOES happen, I am going to kick someone in the head.
And it very well could.

When he said, "I always eat when I get dumped," I could only think of "dumping out," and Lord I could not understand why he was telling Julie that.

I just finished watching
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
. Yes, it's just more Aaron Sorkin, but I thought it was pretty fantastic and I am sad that I won't get to watch a season two.

My friend rented the first disc of The Tudors. The first 3 episodes are great, and I'm looking forward to the next disc.

It really is. The cast is good, the acting is good, the set design is pretty impressive, I don't know a whole lot about how period-true the costumes are, but I love them, and of course the story is good, it's Henry VIII.

Well, but you made up for it by being tried in a kangaroo court by John Goodman.

The first draft of that episode had me tied up to a kangaroo and courted by John Goodman.
