I was needlessly cranky yesterday and looking at it again, that particular post didn't warrant me flipping out.  And even if it had, two wrongs, etc etc.  Sorry Almanzo.

That's sweet of you, and thanks! I shouldn't have been a dingus in response. I feel like the new kid in the school/prison yard here, twitchy and uncertain, afraid that I need to preemptively shank someone lest I be victimized.

the annals of this place are filled with people who came in, were assholes to people, made that excuse, then gave up when no one was very friendly.

not that i'm saying you're an asshole. i think you probably aren't necessarily as much of an asshole as they were. just saying you don't need to shank anyone.
