...but I also saw this, which made me laugh:
yes, sometimes life does fall apart. indeed.
that is so fantastic!
it's life suffering on earth concretized in a video tape, juxaposed against the concrete hope of an enduring redemption.

i can't imagine that it's not
this movie
. not a new line movie, no, but maybe that's a different company's logo. it's not clear at all.

i don't think it's that movie--the date is, I think 1996, and the video release is 1997.

It's probably a bootleg where they just stuck a logo on to make it look more legit.

One of the other members of a discussion forum about Irish architecture (where I post when LPtJ just isn't nerdy enough) put up a few nice pictures of Dublin recently. If you're curious,
this is where I live
.
The brick portions and in fact a lot of it reminds me of Boston.
From what little I remember of Boston, I can see what you mean. Then again, let's not forget, the White House was designed by an Irishman, and our 'native' styles of architecture are generally reflective of that other island to our east, so it's maybe not that surprising that a city with a history of Irish residents would share some characteristics with the homeland.

i like how the description he gives at the beginning is all very poetic and literary, as i imagine all irish people must talk like with their august literary heritage.
That's Graham alright. A top bloke, and a model messageboard poster (he never fights, he's very clever), with a penchant for occasionally florid language.
Whether we all talk like that...
Now, which of these to use as my new signature?

Thank your lucky stars it's not a Holiday Special world. Or maybe don't...
Anyway, sometimes I feel like a penny farthing in a hoverboard world. (This one's for El_Josh.)

okay so now that Greg brough Chewy here, am I the ONLY one who finds that sound annoying after a while, like especially in Empire Strikes Back, sometimes I just want to go STOP WHINING! he's like a child. however, i'd take his annoyingness over jar-jar annoyingness ANY DAY.

Chewbacca is nonstop awesome. You are just crazy, lady.
You're right about Jar Jar being the worst though
Seriously, I'd rather listen to Chewbacca than C3P0
