The weather is pissing me off, as well.  We're supposed to get 6-10 inches of snow here tomorrow, which is the day before I leave for the holidays to spend a week and a half at my parents', so of course I've got like a million things to do, including *two* doctor's appointments before I even go in to work.   Oh, ye weather gods, could your timing possibly be any worse?

my school has co-ed bathrooms. BUT. If a male housekeeper is supposed to wash the bathroom, he isn't allowed to enter it if there are any girls in there! How silly did I feel coming out of the shower today to find a man waiting outside the bathroom for me leave so he could do his job and clean the sinks? There were a bunch of annoying jerk boys in there already. I'd rather shower with a sixty year old man doing his job than a few lacross players shouting about the fact that they are jerking off! So, bah.

also, annoying:  my internet is still not fixed.  when I talked to Verizon, at 11:30 (the technician was supposed to come between 8am and noon), they said there was no reason for me to be there--the were working on the lines remotely.  argh.  why the hell did they make the appointment, then?  and why didn't they work on it remotely, like, a month ago?  argh!  I am filing a complaint with the attorney general if they don't fix it before the weekend.  it's been almost a month, now of intermittent or no internet at all.  beh.

I live in a non-smoking building.  Now, I think it's shitty when people smoke in their rooms here, or in the public bathrooms or staircases, but I guess I can kind of get that.  HOWEVER, I just smelled some very strong smoke smells coming into my room, and, well.  That's not ok.  I mean, this is where I live, I'm allergic to cigarettes, and if someone is smoking them outside of my door, it gives me a headache and makes me all sneezy.  So I opened the door to see what was happening, and two maintenance guys were working on something basically right outside of my door.  One of them was smoking.  I walked up to him, pointed at his cigarette, and made a motion that he should put it out.  EVERYONE in this building knows that it's a non-smoking building.  He kind of just laughed and shrugged me off, so I tapped him on the back again and made it clear that I was serious.  Finally he put it out, but still didn't actually acknowledge my presence at all, just sort of chuckling.

Just.  Ugh.  Sick of this.  I need to get out of this damn building and I need to get home.  So annoyed right now, 'cause now my room's going to smell like cigarettes for the rest of the day, and that is NOT COOL.
