Many times when I have things shipped to me I will have them addressed to "Ronald Banana"

I don't know why... I just think it's funny...

Pro tip: if someone uses "fellowship" as a verb, run.

"I am going to Fellowship the shit out of my neighbor."

This is the time when you are all asleep and I should be doing work because there's really nothing for me to do online, but I'm sitting here anyway.

Sigh.

You guys need to wake the hell up and entertain me, already!

I'm not asleep.  I'm working.

Or is it the other way around?

seconded!

but for me, three days out of the office have left a rather intimidating amount of work to be done in this what everyone seems to be calling winding down period before the holidays. the keyboard smoulders and smokes beneath my whirring fingers. another one down; next. another one down; next. another one down; next. and - as nick lowe might have it - so it goes.

Hello.

Work christmas party last night, so I can't tell if I'm in work or if I'm just dreaming that I'm in work.  I hope it's the former, because then I'll get some money and this won't be a wasted dream.

what everyone seems to be calling winding down period before the holidays.

Aah yes.  Also known as 'the month of December' in some corners of the civil service.

Only today and Saturday left at work than it's a week away from Milwaukee. First to Steven's Point for a few days to see my brother and my mom, and then to Green Bay to see C's folks (which I'm not particularly looking forward to, though they'll likely give us money or something). Friday I'm talking her to see The Nutcracker. I felt bourgeois, but then Marina told me that the Soviet Communist Party used to commission ballets all the time. Now I feel like a Party Member.

All this is to say I really, really don't wanna go to work today. Really.

Hey Jeb, if you get the urge to make a detour to La Crosse, I'll be there as of tomorrow night. Kind of a big detour, I know, but just throwing it out there.

So I guess I'm going to go to a dance party tonight. A zombie beach themed dance party. Something like that. We'll see.

I don't think zombies go to the beach to dance, actually. I've only ever seen them hanging out on foggy nights.

Yeah, I figured it was a bit of a stretch. I'll be around for a week. I was hoping to make it to Milwaukee, but because damn Christmas falls right in the middle, I doubt I'll be able to find the stretch of time it would require. Though who knows, most of my old friends are married and procreating now, so I might flee the place in desperation before the week runs out.

Wait, I thought you had thought Ohio was west of Minnesota/Wisconsin. No?

I think we can all agree on one location:

I know I had some Ohio related confusion on my travels, but I can't remember if I thought it was East or West of Milwaukee or East of Pennsylvania, or was it West of Washington. Either way I got it all muddled up and ended up zig zagging instead of moving seamlessly through time and space like I usually do.

Milledgeville is apparently full of emergency right now.  Last night there were sirens as I was going to sleep.  This morning, there were sirens as I woke up.  There were just sirens again.  Crazy.
