the glow thing has to do with which browser you're using. since i'm at work and am using internet explorer, i can read it. if i was at home using firefox, i wouldn't be able to.

I'm at work and using explorer and I can't read it at all.  Maybe it's a monitor contrast issue?

I can only read the whited out stuff when it's on grey text. And even then, I can *barely* read it but I can see words jump out at me and I am all BUTTTT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOES because I don't want to read it. The glow, however, works every time, except it's a bitch to look at when you're trying to NOT read it.

i think tonight's episode of FNL could have used some 50's rockabilly music or 80s guitar solo, especially during the fight scene.  that larrabee quarterback totally looked like he stepped out of some 50s high school movie.

Note: I was not drunk when I sent the following text message last night:

"omg tim riggins."

I got drunk afterwards.

One of the most important things I have learned from The Wire: Lester Freaman drinks good beer.

Everyone except Kima drinks quality alcohol. And I drink a helluva lot of PBR so I can't really say much against her tastes, either.

Yeah, I've often wondered how McNulty can afford those heroic amounts of Jameson (especially out at bars!) on a cop's salary.

I guess by not paying child support.

Another good way to not pay much for alcohol is to be a cop in Baltimore and go to the same bars frequently.  I mean, I am not a cop, and I live in DC and I drink Jameson for like $1/glass.

Edit: Glenlivet 12-year is $2.  Or free, depending.

Red Stripe and Guinness. I mean, I'm sure some people wouldn't consider those "good" but it's better than like, Budweiser or Corona or something.

And yeah, I guess Miles is right. I've just noticed his drinks in particular.

I would very much like for Freamon to be real so that he might date my mother, who is in love with him. I am not sure about the state of his relationship with Shardene, however, and no matter what I do not believe that my mother's love would be reciprocated.

Fact question: is Rawls married? (This is no longer about my mother.)

I don't think so. I don't know that there's ever been mention made of his wife. Same thing with Shardene post-season 1... or was there a brief scene with her in se. 2?

OH NO I MUST REWATCH THEM ALL

Yeah but that doesn't necessarily mean he's not married

There was a brief scene just last season with Shardene wasn't there?  Lester's definitely hittin' that

I know it doesn't mean he's not married, just that uh, hannah probably wouldn't want him for her mom
