I understand not being an alcoholic, even if it doesn't apply to me, but really? 7 ounces? You can't even wash down a decent slice of bread with that amount of liquid, let alone a burger or something.

Eh, I like to drink half-pints.

It goes like this: women of the same weight as men will get drunk faster on the same amount of alcohol because our bodies carry more fat, which doesn't absorb alcohol as efficiently as muscle, meaning more of it hangs around in our bloodstream, getting us more inebriated for longer periods.

So one pint wouldn't be the same even if we weighed the same. And I'm fairly sure that, in fact, I weigh a hell of a lot less than you and pollo and diesel.

Therefore, one half-pint for me = one pint for you bigger dudes in terms of blood alcohol concentration.

And I got no interest in drinking twice as much as the dudes I'm with, just so it makes people feel comfortable that I'm not drinking pussy sizes. I mean... I do have a pussy, after all. And if I'm some place that offers lots of different beers, I especially like to drink half-pints because that way, I get to try more than one or two without falling over.

I mean, I know there are a ton of ladies who can match men pint for pint. It's just that those ladies are probably drinking twice as much alcohol as the dudes with whom they're drinking.  Shocked

One of my best friends is a little Korean girl who will straight kill a forty... but she has to hold it with two hands.

It's kind of the cutest thing ever.

Yeah, you know how it is.  Korean mothers don't have breast milk, they have hot sauce and soju.

I had a big easy tonight which was Absolut New Orleans, pomegranate liquor, orange juice and tabasco.

By a I mean two and I could have drank a million - I love spicy sweet.

Mango and black pepper vodka?  All the proceeds from it go to Katrina relief?  There's a New Orleans themed music venue in DC, and they sell them there.

The New Orleans flavor alone may not juice Absolut sales, but Murphy hopes it will burnish the image. "You could call it a tactical exercise," he says. "Things like Absolut New Orleans reiterate that Absolut is … on the cutting edge of social commentary."

i didnt know vodkas were in the social commentary business heh
