Wine does me in the worst, but never had organic that I know of. Will look into this. I always used to get a little flushed but it's become intolerable. Think it might be so-called "Asian flush" (Ashkenazi Jews can get it, too!) plus hormones or something. I am not a doctor.

This of course is nothing new or surprising.  I'm just wondering if there's anyone else out there.  I've been playing a video game but I think it is beginning to lose its fascination for me and I would like to do something else.  Maybe I'll talk to you guys.  Maybe I'll watch an Indiana Jones movie.  Maybe I'll just go to bed.  Probably I'll have another drink.  These things are not mutually exclusive.

How is it that I go through so much fucking bourbon.  Those bottles seem so big when you're buying them and so small when you're drinking them.

Having a coffee after dinner and then two Irish Coffees later at home.

It's like 3 am and I'm wide awake.

Seriously, though, the mojito I had earlier was fantastic. I'm not even a fan of rum, but this Mexican place makes the best mojitos in the universe. No lie. I mean, a Mexican restaurant shouldn't even serve mojitos, really, but I'm so glad they ignore the rules because they're good. I should've had two.

I have started adding limoncello to Earl Grey tea. It's pretty great and gives me an excuse to drink limoncello during the cold weather months.

Also, yesterday I had a kind of wine called 'Lacrima di Morro d'Alba', which is made from this obscure grape (Lacrima) in a tiny little part of the Marche region (Morro d'Alba). I've never seen it before but, according to my bandmates (two of whom are from Marche), that's all anyone in that area drinks. I can understand that, seeing as how it was quite possibly the most delicious wine I have ever had and most definitely the only wine I've ever had that actually *does* taste of berries - specifically mulberries.  Drool

I'm neither a big nor a frequent drinker, but I will often read this thread and think, "hm, alcohol would be good right now"

and sometimes, like tonight, i have beer in the fridge.

A double of Johnnie Walker, a shot of Jack, a shot of vodka, another shot of Jack, something with gin in it, in the space of about twenty minutes, coupled with my mids tolerance, I was a little fucked up.  Had fun, though.

Drunk Antero is exactly the same as sober Antero, except he laughs even louder and his limbs are looser.

Improvised cocktail time!  1 part gin, 1 part sweet vermouth, a little less than 2 parts seltzer, dash of lime juice.  It's like an idiot negroni.
